This is often overlooked by a lot of EV enthusiasts. The fact that you need to drive 30-40 miles in some areas of the US to charge a Tesla is a pretty significant problem.

Their path has been slow but it’s heading in a positive direction. The 2020 X5 PHEV is supposed to have 40 miles of range on a charge plus an inline 6. It’s a huge improvement over the current X5 phev (barely 18 miles of electric range with a 4 cylinder engine).
Get a 335i/340i. Perfect DD that comes in manual and has plenty of power for fun.
How did you NOT throw him in the fountain? I feel so much rage just seeing him on TV. If I saw him in real life his head would be stuck in a garbage can.
I can’t remember the Accord ever having comfortable seats. And I’m saying this as the child of a father who has owned 5 Accords over a 30 year period and spent every December 26th driving 10 hours to visit my grandparents in the back of said Accords. I'm an involuntary Accord connoisseur.
Too funny. The only significant problem we had was also the AC compressor. We really have no reason to get rid of ours either and feel like we should just keep it because it still runs fine.
Yep they will sell tons of these. My wife has a 2007 CR-V. The thing just won’t die even though she drives it into Boston everyday. Only negative aspect for her is the city gas mileage (14 mpg in city driving). She’s always wanted a hybrid version and Honda finally delivered. A plug-in hybrid would be even better but…
I haven’t used Expedia or any other third party sites in years. Last time my flight had changed (weeks in advance) and I needed to change it. I basically had to wait for an Expedia customer rep who then had to call the airline and wait on hold. They don't have a direct line or anything.
When it comes to planes, age is often misleading. I’ve flown on P-3 Orion’s and even a DC-3 that is in regular use. All of those planes are well over 50 years old, are maintained very well and are very safe to fly.
Almost every minivan is enormous and gets crappy gas mileage compared to smaller SUVs like the CR-V, which most people gravitate towards. My wife and I only have one kid. There’s no reason for us to get a Minivan. It’s overkill. Instead we have a 12-year old CR-V which gets better gas mileage and is far easier to…
Fuck that. Vettel was trying not to crash his car. There was no way he could come to a complete stop on the grass without eating a wall or spinning out given his speed and trajectory.
You've clearly never experienced a tour group of Brazilian teenagers at Disney World before.
Monaco is F1's answer to ‘Who the hell is going to pay $137k for those Hublot watches?’.
Verstappen drove like a giant asshole today. He did literally nothing to earn driver of the day except smoke Hamilton’s pole. Verstappen hit Hamilton while going too hard into the chicane at lap 76 and almost got the podium as a result because everyone behind him had to slow down. He also cost Bottas 2nd place…
Forget the moral compass aspect. Facebook cold-called me last year and I decided to hear them out. Their Software Engineer interview process requires you to fly to Mountain View to work with an on-site development team for 3 goddamn weeks and if they like you then you get the job. This was even for a job that is not…
They were also playing online video games and speaking English to the other players so it would most likely be somewhere on Earth.
Disney does this a lot with their theme park merchandise. They’ll release 1000 of an item like a Pop Vinyl that they know everybody is going to want and then never release it again. I have no idea how this helps them make money. The eBay sellers seem to do well though.
Dude, they built an entire immersive land devoted to Star Wars that includes a life size Millennium Falcon and you’re complaining?!?! Can’t you just appreciate that you’re living in a time when you can experience something like this?
My only gripe with these systems is that in dense cities like Boston, pedestrians try to jump in front of your car all the time. An automatic braking system like this would make your car contstantly stop every 50 ft.
The worst are the Brazilian tour groups full of teenagers. I was walking up to the fast pass entrance to Soarin a few years ago and this Brazilian tour guide runs ahead of me with 100 goddamn fast passes in her hand and the cast member let them all in ahead of everyone else even though they were all lagging behind us.
