If Snyder made cop thrillers and disaster porn flicks, no one would pay him any mind. But he's working in nerd territory, where you can be a revered filmmaker, then make a few mediocre entries in the beloved franchise that you created, and suddenly you're the monster who raped everyone's childhoods.

Yeah, there's no way Batman hasn't at least indirectly killed dozens of people over the years, through injury or collateral damage. The idea that "Batman doesn't kill" seems kinda legalistic to me.

It is lame, but I guess it's a "comedy is subjective" thing. My favorite comedy is a lame gag that's pushed over the edge into absurdity.

I would have fallen in love with the movie if they had totally gone with it and shown Apocalypse geeking out over his cool designs.
