Hannibal Buress in Edinburgh on Netflix is really good — I thought it was just a comedy special but it's actually a documentary. An interesting glimpse into the life of a stand up comic.

Because with nuTrek they're taking a familiar, beloved property and remaking it with a new cast, asking longtime fans to make an emotional investment in characters who not only have been stripped of their familiarity but also now seem deeply wrong, having been replaced by changelings.

I find the character designs slightly off-putting — I know what people mean by describing it as Uncanny Valley even if that's not really correct — but I'm enjoying the writing!

This series of comics is the first time I've seen people get aggro over the existence of anthropomorphized cartoon characters.
