This episode makes me think again that the idea that Dany’s actually kind of a villain is still in play. There’s how she’s walking around Winterfell with the air of somebody who feels she should be worshipped just because of who she is without one thought of why people should care. And as a way of showing off her

Are we not going to talk about how the only people who can ride dragons are Targaryens? Surely, Dany knows this? The caves above Dragonstone are littered with the charred bones of half-Targs and pretend-Targs who perished when they tried to mount a dragon.

I was disappointed that we actually had Jorah Mormont and Lyanna Mormont in one place, in one episode and we got... nothing. Come on! Are you telling me Lyanna doesn’t have any snide, cutting remark for the long-lost disgraced cousin that she’s never known? Does she not feel the need to smack him around a little and

All the dudes need to stop being dumb about Sansa. Jon was killed by his own crow bros, Sansa hasn’t been killed once.

John Bradley was far and away the acting standout for this episode. Terrific work from him in the scene with Daenerys and Jorah.

Little did Arya know that every time Gendry said “as you wish” he really meant “I love you.”

I loved this shot. This is brilliant blocking.

My favorite moment was definitely Arya shutting Jon down when he tried to joke about Sansa to her. Arya is Team Sansa and I’m into it.

I think you are wrong.  Ceresi didnt want him in her bed.  She is using him as a cover for her pregnancy.  It serves a dual purpose.  It gives the kid legitimacy, and adds some control of Euron.    Her smirk when he said “Im going to put a prince in your belly” told me that I was right.

Auntfucking? That’s like, first base in the Seven Kingdoms.

He’s getting there. Gotta start with Sam’s dead family, onto Ned and having to run through LITERALLY everything he’s ever been told about Lyanna by him and stories of Rhaegar.

He has to re-contextualize his whole life.

Davos continues to be the best character.

And my AryaXGendry shipper heart almost exploded.

Dany really came off as awful this episode.

Is anyone else weirded out that when Sam tells Jon that he’s a Targaryen Jon doesn’t immediately freak out at the fact that he’s been fucking his aunt?

I appreciate that they’ve tried to make Randall less perfect, but I think they made a mistake in making it such a drastic swing.

“I hope you have fun, teaching bored middle-aged housewives how to twirl better.” —The part of Randall’s voicemail that made me wince and think, “Oooooooh, Randall, you done fucked up. Enjoy sleeping on the couch tonight, asshole.”

As someone who has hidden a lot of drinking from a lot of people ... that’s not necessarily the case. However, he *was* hungover after drinking heavily and not sleeping (nor presumably showering), so if anyone did smell it they likely wrote it off as the stench coming out of post-bender pores.

The good news is, I found a solution to Randall and Beth’s childcare woes! They should simply hire whatever magical person they trust enough to watch their kids for a last-minute cross-country trip of indeterminate length.”

I think it’s waiting room trauma done subtly (surprising for this episode). She is haunted by the fact that she left Jack to get a candy bar and while she was gone he died. She’s also haunted by that bite she took. She’s not eating because of that trauma I think.
