Oh my god, why wasn’t Fortnite on this list?

Define mainstream. For an (almost) 5 year old game, it appears to still command a pretty significant streaming audience in the FGC.

I think I might be too old and out of touch, because I can’t understand how a douchebag like this has any sort of audience. Am I right in assuming it’s an audience of fellow douchebags?

I waited until the next-gen console updates to roll out before I touched the game, and even then I did it with muted expectations... then I pretty much hated the first 2-3 hours... It really does feel like you’re on rails and forcefully being moved from point A to B, while the game implies that you should be feeling

I can relate. I absolutely loved the Last of Us Part 1, and was pumped about Part 2... and then I read about the dog scenes. To my understanding, they’re not THAT bad, but knowing that it’s going to happen has been enough to keep me from playing it so far, regardless of the fact that I know the scenes only make up

I’d say I agreed with you for my first few hours with the game... I couldn’t make it past a 2nd boss, and didn’t feel like any of the upgrades/relics were all that helpful... so I put it down for a week and came back to it... While Chrom/Roy/Lucina/Marth all have a similar moveset, other than Lucina/Marth being essentially identical, they all require different playstyles if they’re going to be used effectively... and they’re

Jeeze. As a white guy, its embarrassing to read that almost every other comment on this article is a clumsily written version of “race isn’t important - why are you talking about race, and you’re racist for acknowledging the subject’s race”. If the subject of the article was a white woman, you’d be just as whiney

I agree with all of this. With a lan adapter, online lag happens (maybe once out of every five matches), but generally, it’s actually okay. And I play World of Light exclusively when my wife wants the TV and I’m stuck playing handheld mode. I wish Nintendo would make an official gamecube/switch controller that’s at
