All I can think when I look at that car is that it looks like it can snort pedestrians.

Well, on one particularly brain-farty day, I made two wrong turns on my commute. Not in different places, though. I made a wrong turn and, after having to drive in a big over-complicated loop (I wasn’t very familiar with the roads at the time and have a horrible sense of direction) to get back to the place where I

UPDATE 2: I was wrong, that wasn’t it. It did it again.

Ah, a bear in his natural habitat. A Studebaker. :)

UPDATE: It appears that the problem was that some wires were zip-tied to a power steering hose, so when the steering wheel moved, the hoses and wires moved as well, and over time the zip-tied wires inched their way into a position where when the wheel was turned to the right, the wires were getting yanked. I snipped

Alright, I’ll tell you all what the problem was when/if I figure it out. Strangely, the car hasn’t stalled while turning right yet today, although it did it three times yesterday, making the problem even weirder.

The Cannonball run sounds like fun except for the dangerous and illegal part. I think it would be better to do it in something like this:

Actually, it was doing weird stuff like that more often before I replaced the alternator a few months ago, and after replacing the alternator the problems seemed to go away. This new problem only started happening a couple days ago, so I would assume that if it had a problem with the alternator, the problem would’ve

Or... Mission Impossible masks.

Thanks, although I just replaced the alternator so I’d be surprised if that was causing the problem. Still, thanks for the advice.

Yikes! Well, thanks for the advice. I’ll check to see if that’s the problem as soon as possible.

About that... Any idea why my ‘66 Thunderbird sometimes mysteriously stops running when I make a right turn? This just started happening (It happened three times today) and I have no clue what’s going on. It doesn’t seem to have any problems with going straight or turning left, but sometimes when I turn right, the

Reminds me of the couple mysterious cars in Forza 6 that you could race against, but not own. I seem to recall there was a stock 1973 (I think) Ford Escort, with the only other ‘73 escort in the game being the Fast and Furious version, and also a Ferrari of some sort.

I (sort of) daily drive a 1966 Ford Thunderbird, and the headlights on it shine maybe 20 feet ahead at best. And that’s with the brights on. That doesn’t stop me from driving at night, though, so I guess my standards are pretty low, too.

“Electronic Turtle” would be a good band name.

I’d rather have 220 Craigslist crapcans :)

I think the saddest part was that at one point, the main character was working on converting a first-gen Camaro to electric. That poor, poor thing.

Same. Along with a ‘67 Mustang, a 911 made with parts cannibalized from a Mercedes AMG GT3, and a weird orange ute thing that was once a 720s. It’s like these sets were made with me in mind.

A while ago, I watched the movie Geostorm and was very disappointed to find that the main character did not drive a Geo Storm. In fact, not a single character in the movie drove a Geo of any sort. I didn’t even see any in the background. This makes me sad.

Same.
