Ehhhh... Screw “true to the brand”. “True to the brand” limits the amount of fun and creativity you can have with project cars. (not that ls swaps are particularly creative, but you know what I mean) Put Chevy engines in Fords. Put 2JZ engines in muscle cars. Shove Hemi engines into Teslas. If it results in a fun and

I, personally, actually quite like that Hudson. Hot rods are all about putting bigger, more powerful engines in whatever cool car you want (though I would like to see something more interesting than another ls swap). But I agree that it’s not impossible to drive classic cars as they are. I drive a 1966 Ford

R34 Nissan Skyline GTRs. Let me explain...

I can see it now... “The Little Jeep That Could”

That dog looks like one wise sensei.

I... I like it. Never thought I’d say that about a Lexus, but this one is just lovely. The way the silver vents appear to drip from the headlights makes the car look a bit like it’s crying, which is a bit unusual and a very different attitude than modern sports cars usually have, but somehow that makes me like it

This is the kind of thing I fantasize about doing all the time but never actually do. I love it. This man is my hero.

Dang right it would. :)

Yeah, but the cats kinda deserve it. Dogs on the other hand...

I’ve been thinking about this all wrong. Why should I go to all the trouble to make a car that floats when I can just build an underwater snorkel Jeep? I mean, wouldn’t that just be so much easier? Also, wouldn’t “Underwater Snorkel Jeep” be a great band name?

It never ceases to amaze me how that little Jeep refuses to die. It’s simply astounding. And it makes it all the more lovable.

Oh man, that would be super useful. I can’t even begin to describe to you how many times I’ve had to transport giraffes in tiny cars for... perfectly legal reasons.

Sand drag racing is pretty interesting.

I was going to post that if no one else did. That’s one of the most strangely entertaining motorsports I’ve ever seen, and I love it.

“Looking at such a cool looking car makes me sad to look at a new Bentley any modern car, they all sort of look the same to me.”

I would daily the crap out of that red and black one. That’s just beautiful.

Well, I do like armadillos, but I don’t think that’s it.

Why do I want it more now?

I wonder if they maybe made the nose longer to counteract the weight of the engine in the back?

Since I love coming up for uses for otherwise seemingly doomed/worthless cars, I say turn that Fiat X1/9 that’s been cut in half into a limousine. I mean, the first step’s already been done for you, so why not?
