What about a ‘60s Plymouth Valiant or Dodge Lancer? I’ve heard they’re reliable enough to put Hondas to shame and can be had with air conditioning, so you could live with it. They are also easy to work on and have personality to spare. The only problem would be trying to convince everyone that it’s safety is adequate,

I got some ramps, a funnel, a first-aid kit and a bunch of other car-related emergency stuff, and a car battery charger, which will come in handy since my Thunderbird sometimes takes like 10 minutes to start and I’ve drained the battery before.

Is it bad that I seriously want to hot rod one of them?

6X6: +100 cool points.

This concept, although clearly not real, looks fantastic. Except the x-shaped things over the headlights. Those are impractical and unnecessary and look like crap.

Yo dawg, we heard you like bodykits so we put bodykits on the bodykit!

Awesome :)

I love Volkswagen Microbuses that aren’t Volkswagen Microbuses (no offense to Volkswagens, I just also like obscure stuff). Especially Tempo Vikings.

This is blowin’ ma mind. Off-road woodies just make all sorts of sense to me and I feel like it has to be a common thing but it somehow isn’t...

Sounds like a good idea to me. I mean, the BMW engine is probably fine, but it might infect the turn signals...

Are you kidding? the 1970 Firebird’s marker lamps are the best marker lamps of all time because they are trying to remind us that Tire equals Bumper, which is something that I think we forget all too often...

Do it to a Nova. Don’t mess with a Cougar. The Nova would be epic, but the Cougar would be ruined.

I like most of those, but I think some of these are going a bit too far and becoming bro-dozers. Also, no one should ever do something like that to a Citroen DS. It’s just plain wrong.

Every time I see you post a picture of some obscure old car I get my hopes up that it’s an actual article.

My ‘66 Thunderbird has a giant vent below the rear window which can be opened and closed with a switch on the center console. The owner’s manual says that the vent is there to keep air flowing in and out of the cabin so that you never get “stale” air. I think it’s actually there so that if anyone farts in the car, you

Found a ‘69 Volkswagen beetle rolling body for $400 with a neat story. The seller says that the car was a show car in a previous life but was a victim of an electrical fire, so now it’s basically a blank canvas. The seller said that the suspension and transmission are both there as well and it is one of the rarer bugs

I found a 92 Range Rover LSE for $500. Seller says it needs some work but can be put back on the road.

I found a 78 Chevy Malibu for ONE FREAKING DOLLAR. Of course, it’s in pretty bad shape but it runs (sort of) and for one dollar it’s really a question of why not.

You’re still excited by this, but not excited by the new Supra? Both are very cool and we’ve been waiting for both for a very long time, so I don’t understand why everybody whines about the Supra but excuses the TVR.
