Congrats! The E36 M3 is a terrifically reliable car, assuming you have a few pain points addressed.

Now playing

This is my buddies K-Miata Swapped Exocet (K24). The car weighs about 1,600 pounds. This was from our trip to Laguna Seca... I have never experienced anything like the kind of raw insanity in my life. Here’s a video from Streets of Willow before he finished all the tuning and upgraded the suspension.

If it’s anything like a Kitchen Aid stand mixer, you’ll spend a fortune buying all the attachments, it will take way too much space and you’ll end up never using most of them.

We’ve been saying this for years! This could have been totally prevented if only it had a turbo.

The stickers on the tires are so Stance Nation.

And sails. Just think of the added efficiency boost if you were to rig a small mainsail and spinnaker!

I call BS on the operating costs of the Alfa. There is no way that thing isn’t spending half the year in the shop. It’s fuel costs are likely half of whats being used.

I know about the Piston Cup, does that help?

I’m actually getting excited for this truck. I’m also prepared to be totally disappointed. It’s a weird headspace to be in, kind of like getting married.

For those of you who don’t understand the HD truck market: Here are some points that might clue you in on who is buying these trucks with the massive towing capacities and insane torque figures:

Well maybe that trailer is full of depleted uranium or something.

I love the organic structures that come from computer optimization of stresses and deflection in a part. Seeing 3D printed parts like this come onto a production car is an engineer’s dream

Alternate method for setting fire to railroad tracks:

Have you never bought a used BMW before?  That’s less sketchy then most sellers.

This whole Corvette-or-not thing is affecting my brain in the same way I imagine people were bothered by that whole blue dress / white dress thing. I didn’t care a bit about the dress, but this thing here is problematic.

The dashboard appears to be from a BMW 3 series. The rear wing is a copy of the 959.

lol just buy a 997 C2 for 37k it will still be awesome.

Can we just come and drive it, or do we have to tell you it sucks?

Same! I still remember it beating the 355 (my then favorite car), NSX, 911 et in the best handling car over $30k feature back in 97. For the track and autocross crowd, these car’s never were hated on. Especially as the prices dropped. You can beat the crap out of an e36 M3 and it takes it.
