Beatty has banged more dudes and done more drugs than either of us can imagine.

She's in character.

There was a minor kerfuffle a while ago over Victoria Beckham not being able to sub something at a very posh restaurant while she was sick - the chef didn't allow her to fuck with his carefully chosen dish. Gordon Ramsey lambasted the guy on Twitter for not giving a pregnant woman a break, but said normally he was

I had a 1% hope that Van Susteren might drop the asshole act once she left Fox. I caught maybe ten minutes of her at MSNBC after Trump's batshit presser; it's not an act. She was disingenuous (insisting it wasn't a Muslim ban) and rude to her guests.

Well, good, this frees up Steven Pasquale to continue with Almost There. I know, I know, look it up!

That is the plot of a Justice League episode.

God, I hated that part. The rest of it had me, but I was literally squirming for that sequence.

You didn't already want that? Why do you think we were all saying we wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire? It was a desperate hope.

I have yet to get to Ballard; that just moved him a few spots up my list. Thanks for the rec and also for terrifying me.

It's a $5 paperback most places and a two-hour read; I (obviously) highly recommend.

I take back everything I said about dystopic writers being talented but overly pessimistic. Everyone's focusing on 1984 and Brave New World, but for me it's Bradbury that looks like a prophet right now.

Whenever I pictured the end coming, I imagined the people responsible being more intelligent and more charismatic that this lot. In short, I thought they'd have to be smarter than the people; I never thought the populace would dumb itself down.

I adored the Patriot pilot, I'm glad it got picked up.

You mean Casey's charges, right? Not Denzel?
Also, Casey Affleck was never charged, only sued in civil court.

I regret that I have but one upvote to give.

Missin 'round these parts for 'bout six months now.

I'm 25 and I maintain everyone using stuff like this has lost their minds. I understand the bluetooth light systems - as a disabled person especially, sometimes it's really nice to not have to get up for something at the end of a day. But the Alexa/echo/home stuff is unnerving.
