Switzerland is expensive as hell and has a high bar for immigration, Germany is between a rock and a hard place and if Merkel loses, everything is fucked (with the caveat that I have little understanding of the current German situation and if someone wants to weigh in I'd be happy to learn more), South Korea has a

I caught it too, though I chalked it up to "huh, these guys didn't think this through much, did they?" Same with Brave, where the much touted not-stereotypically-feminine Princess still solves her problem with…sewing. But I appear to have been the only one to notice that, so I keep it to myself.

Sigh. If I may digress, because this has been eating at me…
My grandfather was brilliant. He graduated UC Berkeley's Boalt Hall Law School when he was 22 on a free ride, and became the Major Case ADA for Sacramento when he was 25. He was curious, funny, off-kilter and kind hearted with a mean streak. He'd have fit in

Yeah, Bannon has the red nose and the watery eyes. He looks like my grandfather right before the cirrhosis got serious. I bet if someone took his 'cleverly concealed' booze away, he'd get some pretty serious shakes.
#Cirrhosis2017!

Le sigh.

I dare you to watch an episode of Upper Middle Bogan.

Going off topic a little bit…
Does anyone with more knowledge than me have any hope that France will look at what's happened here, think "fuck that noise" and not vote in Le Pen? Austria went against the tide.

I'm noticing an immense lack of people here defending this. Maybe one or two drivebys that I've missed, but the Breitbart crowd seems quiet tonight.

Yeah, this fan's only thought on her attendance was "jeez, lady, how the hell are you getting out of bed?" I don't think for a moment that she granted some sort of legitimacy to the proceedings; I think I saw maybe one picture of her there.

My understanding is that it doesn't count as actionable treason unless war has been declared with the country in question. Russia isn't friendly and hasn't been since Crimea at least, but war hasn't been declared by Congress and therefore treason charges can't apply.

I'm not a twatter, does anyone know if I can email them my receipts or something?

I got the impression he was just burnt out and pissed and wasn't really seriously advocating. If he is, Rollo and I and the two other Californians here can set him straight. (West coast best coast)

We could admit that nuclear power is pretty damn safe these days.

I'm very glad you're here.

Well, in our defense, the AVC commentariat is pretty well-focused, and this was a lightly populated article. In addition, a lot of the comments on this page mention that this is a distraction. The policy related articles get a lot more traffic, a lot more comments, and a lot more hair-pulling.

He's in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy for maybe five total minutes, and that's available.
ETA: Amazon Prime almost certainly has more. also:
thedaretelly.com/movies has the least intuitive UI I've seen yet (if you're in the movies section and you click a letter, it'll send you to that letter's TV section) but the depth is

It was Gary Cole? How did I miss that? Now I'm torn between not wanting to ruin my image of Gary Cole, desperately wanting to see what kind of makeup job they did on him, and still wanting NBC to air the Trump episode because goddammit NBC, do something right.

Jeepers. I'm not a particular fan of his or anything, but it's incredibly unclassy of her to publicly reprimand him for something he's already taking a lot of heat for. A quick google says she was his stepmother for a total of three years, and his father had passed quite a while before his tantrum. Seriously, the

Yeah, it's a shame they stopped at five seasons!
