I live in an area where people have guns: They hunt, for turkeys and deer or whatever; they shoot for practice or competition. But I firmly believe in my heart of hearts they would not tolerate guns in school with their children.

I’ve never been more serious about moving to Canada. My wife and I are seriously discussing it, as we have 2 and 4 y.o. sons. I will not send them to a school that arms teachers or has any armed presence beyond a police officer.
