Maybe, maybe not. In a lot of cases, we gave “aid” to countries in the form of M1A1s and M1A2s to keep the line going. The Army has repeatedly said that they don’t want any more Abrams, and Congress keeps appropriating money for new tanks, so we’ve given a lot away to other countries over the years.
