More people who subscribe to HBO (read: older people) watch Veep, sure. I'd bet GoT also has a larger number of older viewers than something like Girls, and its audience certainly includes more males.

Jezebel is free, and of course it's free because no one would pay for it. Girls/HBO costs money, and few Millenials subscribe to HBO. There are vast numbers of people watching Girls who don't show up in the ratings. I can pretty well guarantee that Dunham is vastly more influential than Jezebel, but nice try guys.
Homophobes, racists, misogynists, and anti-Semites. If there's one thing they all have in common, it's that they're always sure they're not wrong.
You're forgetting about straight privilege, as if it doesn't even exist. Half the comments on this article are straight women complaining about how gay men are yucky.
"I know a few women that are awful and treat me like shit.
To quote you, with a slight alteration:
"No more will I attempt to curtail my gross generalizations or bigotry! This article has given me license to be a homophobic moron to my heart's content!" -cptodd
You know where else has this beautiful weather? Coastal deserts like the Atacama, the Namib, Western Sahara, Baja, and, one day soon, California!
I love the sheer number of people asking why northerly places are cold and why Florida is hot. Indeed, a longstanding mystery. People are smart.
Hmm, I'd like to suggest some re-writes. What if it's an all-male crew, and one of them gets infected and begins somehow impregnating his fellow male astronauts (because, aliens!)? I think I've got a winner on my hands.
It's also worth noting that this "mini-ice age" was followed by the eruption of bubonic plague in the Mediterranean basin, which may have claimed 1/3 of the population. This was the first bubonic plague pandemic. The second pandemic (which struck almost eight centuries later) also struck after a period of poor climate…
Agents of SHIELD is so bland that I would have quit watching long ago if it didn't take place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I keep waiting for it to get better.
I left Battlestar Galactica a few episodes into season 3. I couldn't believe how badly the quality had fallen, but eventually it just became unwatchable for me.
So these students had this brilliant plan to draw Fitz to campus, and they somehow knew that Ward would subsequently suggest that he go visit the troubled kid, which he did, and that while visiting, he would give a cursory glance at his invention and quickly come up with a solution to a problem they were having? That…
For men only of course. For actresses, 20 remains the new 20.
The trend will finally come full circle when names like "Susan" and "Barb" and "Sharon" are considered trendy again. Right now they are "older mom" names, but by the time today's children are having children of their own, they'll sound quaint and grandmotherly.
The Sweet Hereafter was a better film shot and set in Canada.
How often do you do that, to the extent that it would actually be worthwhile to have a shortcut Domino's app cluttering up your screen?
Coincidentally it's also 40+ on the west coast of Canada. Not much coldmaggedon in Vancouver.
They seem to be on sale at Amazon right now. Pretty good deal.
