I wonder how much of the problem is due to the ridiculous practices employed in industrial agriculture. It seems like a ticking timebomb. Cattle are fed an enormous amount of corn, to which their digestive systems are not adapted, and then housed in extremely cramped conditions. This results in very sick cows are

70% of reviews are positive, according to Rotten Tomatoes. This article is a littale misleading.

This article gave me the impression that most critics disliked the film, but that doesn't actually seem to be the case. It currently has 70% on Rotten Tomatoes, which is pretty good for a sci-fi film.

I like the fact that whoever created this trailer thought that the line "Fire thrusters," (delivered calmly) was interesting enough to be included in the preview. For some reason that struck me as funny.

I can't wait for the forthcoming Tumblr Phone.

Like what? Actual question. I googled "Lena Dunham offensive quotes" but couldn't find anything interesting.

I haven't actually heard any of these horribly racist, sexist, or classist quotes. I'm not saying they don't exist, but I've never heard them. Also, I thought it was strange that everyone jumped on Girls for not having enough racial diversity when 90% of TV shows already don't. Sex and the City didn't, but nobody tore

Why? Facebook will just compress the shit out of every uploaded photo anyway.

You're the only commenter who hasn't agreed with me. I also have tons of friends and family who use iMessage and have never had problems. Also, every time Gizmodo posts this, there are droves of people wondering wth they're talking about. So I'm led to believe that my experience is the most common one.

But to be fair the same thing happens with standard text messages, and far more often. In fact I don't think I've ever had an iMessage falsely claim to be delivered (not saying it can't happen occasionally).

Yesterday Dunham tweeted something along the lines of:

I love how everyone automatically assumes that it's Lena Dunham who's crazy and insufferable and hard to work with, and not the other way around. This couldn't possibly be unconscious sexism, could it?!

And you can use them on Wi-fi when you're in concrete buildings where cellular reception is terrible. When I'm at work I can basically only text my friends who have iPhones.

I've rarely had issues with iMessage either, and I live in a major city and use it constantly. Gizmodo just has this weird thing about iMessage that seemingly is not grounded in reality. Maybe they have really bad Wi-fi in their offices?

Gizmodo has an inexplicable hate-on for iMessage. For me, it's much more reliable than standard text messages. Sure, occasionally an iMessage won't go through (very rarely, btw), but when that happens it's almost always a problem with my data connection, not iMessage itself.

"If you're in the market for either device, now is a good time to snag a full-size iPad considering the step up to generation five is bound to be as incremental as the step to four was."

Why do you assume that scientists must be brilliant? I know plenty of non-brilliant scientists...and the ones in Prometheus were basically mercenaries who signed up for an unknown mission to make money.

Agree with all but Prometheus. It has flaws but my god, it's nowhere _near_ as bad as the frothing geek masses have made it out to be.

I love the craziness and campiness of True Blood, but for some reason it tends to fall short of its inherent promise almost every year. The best episodes were always the Alan Ball penned and/or directed eps, so now that he's gone I'm a little worried.
