I wouldn't say they're pulling an Apple. I'd say this is just the new normal in the smartphone industry. The technology has matured to the point where there isn't a whole lot more that can be done each year aside from incremental improvements.

Which features, though? None of the above features are remotely enticing to me. They sound irritating and I would probably disable them instantly. I think Sarah Silverman's public persona is merely a character she plays, and the character itself is the joke. Yes, the Sarah Silverman persona is a bit like a 14-year-old boy, but there seems to be a lot of self-awareness underneath, which is why (for me) she's actually funny – unlike most 14-year-old boys.
