If you call Jasper “wilderness” anywhere near Canadians, prepared to be laughed out of the room with comments like, “so you couldn’t handle Banff so you went there, eh?”.

Yay Canada! My best friend is getting married at a campground in Jasper this summer and the scenery is stunning. Jasper Park Lodge really IS romantic, and even though it’s a touristy area in the summer I’m guessing it’s remote enough that they’ll be left mostly alone.

I worked as a docent at the Met for over 5 years. Here’s a few points:
- she showed up on a Saturday afternoon, one of the busiest times of the week. If she was there on a Monday at 10am there may not have been an issue.
- panniers and big big dresses aren’t a great choice as they could hit art or some other patron…
