I will watch either. Plus we don’t need CGI for the Ronin remake. We would however need Edgar Wright.

If the rendering above is correct, the heritage edition would have a entirely different dashboard. That would add a lot of value in the secondary market.
If the 6 Turbo was around by 2017 i would have bought it, and i would not have been Tom’s client.
That removes Audi, Lexus and even some BMW and Mercedes lines out of contention. Coming from my E90, i have had my S3 for a while now and i would not say it is any less luxurious just because it is Quattro instead of RWD.
If the thief successfully get the car out of EU borders, it is gone. The buyer would either be living in a country where vehicle registration and titling would not matter thanks to bribes, or he would collect it and stash in a warehouse, never to be driven again. In 20 years it might resurface as a barn find.
Vastly different markets though.
That is true that the South has more HOAs. I lived in New England, and I have noticed that by and large HOAs is not a thing there.
But then you would be stuck with long commutes, and if you have kids, you want to put them in the best school district, and often those suburbs are HOA dominated.
Not so cut and dry. In many suburbs and exurbs, HOAs or neighborhood associations are the norm, especially if the suburbs in question was built in the last two decades. There are places where you have no choice but to live with an HOA. The key here is legislation that would curb the power of HOA and the kind of rules…
The car is most likely purchased by a third party agent, dummy-registered, then shipped to NK. NK has a very efficient network of smugglers to supply the Kims with everything from booze to lobsters to other luxury goods, dodging embargo left and right. Once the car get to NK it’s not like the previous registration…
Sad thing is that no one would buy one. The Sedan would be a harder sell as it is.
Nyet
Now Toyota should take that back and use it for their museum and give Matt something interesting. Like an FJ or a brand new LS
The rangie is the Holland and Holland version(?) which is a brand for hunting guns.
At this point clean and low mileage Supras are not cars anymore, at least not in the functional sense. Thanks to modders and Fast and Furious, the supply has become very scarce and these clean Supras are now more collectors’ items than cars. Just like you do not daily (or even actually drive) a Ferrari 250 GTO or a…
I used to live in a condo in the Miami area. My then-partner rides a motorcycle. The HOA tried to pull the “no motorcycle” rule on me. Told me my partner cannot visit unless he rides in a “proper” car. I lived there long before I ever met him and I own the damned unit. Also I know for a fact at least two unit owners…
Tom know this story because he helped me getting my current car.
Because if you want a sporty looking car in a land of speed cameras and high gas and insurance prices, sacrificing speed for practicality trumps having all the unused horsepowers under the hood.
No eurobeat or initial d references? I am disappoint.
McMansion Hell would have a field day with this crap.
The location is near Clearwater. Maybe luminaries of a certain religion based in that city would want to acquire it.
