ETERNA! My mom has watched OLTL since it started (yes, 40+ years or whatever it's been), so I watched it too while I was growing up. I was in elementary school when that plotline was going on, and I knew even that that it was batshit crazy. It's the most vivid memory I have out of the 15-or-so years I (sort of)

YES to everything you said. I had that CC special on VHS, and my best friend and I watched it so much we basically ruined the tape (Christ Chex!). Everything I've seen of him since then is soooooo horrible.

Interesting question, but I don't lie about that stuff either (again, never saw the point). I'll admit there have been times that I've refrained from answering whether I did or didn't, though those times have been few and far between too. Maybe that's partly because I read a lot more than most of my friends.

I skimmed through all of them expecting him to be #1. Guess who's gonna be at the top of the Naughty List this year.

Ugh, gonna have to agree on this one. Frankly, I don't see anything wrong with a 2-kid cap. That should be enough mayhem for anyone.

@Ms B. Having and spookymonster: Thank you for clearing that up! Obviously, I have not read the comics. I was making myself a little crazy trying to figure out how I missed something like that!

Thanks for the recommendations Holku! And also thanks for being frank about how it still might not be for me haha. If I happen to run out of other things (I have about 15 unread books on my shelves right now), I may give him another shot.

This might be a stupid question, but as for The Walking Dead... WHY are we wondering if Lori's preggers?? Did I miss something? I just watched Sunday's episode last night, and while her conflict about Carl's possible death and having to raise a child in that world could easily tie in to an internal debate about

Maybe I just chose the wrong books to attempt. I got through about half of Cujo and I forced myself to finish The Langoliers. Maybe someday, down the road, I'll make another attempt! Any particular recommendation?

Aaaaand THIS is what I think of whenever I hear ANYTHING about royals and eccentricity. (Thank you, Eddie!)

I tried reading Stephen King a few times, and I just got bored. I do, however, like to watch adaptations of his work. I am VERY excited about this!

As enjoyable as that would be, let us hope he's never so desperate!

I do too, but at least the "heftier" version of him still has the same voice. I wonder how much he'd charge to have him read my email to me for a day...

Maybe that explains why I used to wake up totally turned around with footprints on the walls when I was little... Huh!

Yeah, I've never had the teeth-falling-out dream either. I'd probably wake up and vomit if I did (that stuff SERIOUSLY grosses me out).

I haven't bothered with any kind of e-reader. I love physical books too much to let them go! When I bought my house, I decided what was intended to be a dining room would be much better suited as a library, and I was absolutely right about that.

LOL, they also never crash! Ever! Definitely not a few times a week!

I've made a few attempts to read his father's, and I was always disappointed (I just find his style to be incredibly boring). Joe Hill, on the other hand, I REALLY enjoy. I read Heart-Shaped Box too, and they're both page-turners. I'm looking forward to more from him!

This was a really hard vote, but "As the World Falls Down" definitely would've gotten one from me. That's been one of my favorite songs for about 2.5 decades now.

You win Monday, Grey_Area.
