What wafflesss said, plus there are some special versions of the car, called the Type S (Europe and Japan I think) and the CR (made it to the States).

That and the already increasing prices are why now is the perfect time for buying one.
The last car that represented Soichiro Honda's dream.
First thing I noticed.
The only motorsport that has exposure is RallyMobil, which btw isn't the only rally category.
That's the magic of auctions, if you have the money.
Youtube any GT Academy best lap time video and tell me if that's a simulator or not. Looks closer to mario kart than to touring cars.
The selected gamers are trained extensively on real racing before stepping into a racing car and afterwards too, to the point their previous experience (in real racing or simracing)…
On the long run PC gaming is cheaper than console gaming, since it serves for all purposes (such as working), games are vastly cheaper (or 'free') and there are no additional fees for online multiplayer (360, Xbone, PS4).
Now, on this particular genre regular PCs (not built for gaming) are good enough to run most of…
1) The F1 series running on consoles is not comparable to PC sims, night and day. Even on the PC that's considered a different genre.
This. A Fangio car should be worth more than Senna's and everyone else's.
It's my word against yours then.
and btw, pCars real visuals look nothing like the trailers (pre-rendered), especially on a PC that costs less than your car.
It does. Practically all consoles games have it so you are used to it, except GT5/GT6demo, and again it's a technical issue that cannot be magically solved by one developer and not the rest. With that said, there are some tricks to make a 'fake sense of speed', such as blur (Forza4 has tons of it, GT5 a bit less),…
With one screen it is not technically possible to do a good sense of speed without messing up fov entirely. It's a necessary trade off, so the games you think had it right in reality are worse than this one, since they have a fish eye effect and overshot the sense of speed at the center of the screen.
GT5 does…
Visuals, yes. Physics, not a chance.
They might improve it afterwards, since it's not released yet, but right now even consoles games are above it on that regard.
It's best to see the article as what it is instead of making assumptions.
I appreciate the achievement of the new engine and technologies involved, plus the article helps opening eyes of people that thought Corvettes are killing mother nature. On the other hand, it's fun reading the comments on any article that…
What a coincidence. Yesterday I posted here that I don't like F1's current regulation philosophy....and Top Gear criticized the same a couple hours after (ok the show was recorded some days ago but still). Glad that this is now mainstream.
A top of the pack early 90s f1 car will still absolutely destroy current road-going supercars in terms of lap times, especially if the test is fair in terms of tires (both with current tires for their class) and condition (both stock).
BTW F1 hasn't progressed vastly since those days, due to regulations. That means…
For the OP: The GTAcademy drivers got 3rd place in LMP2 Le Mans.
I know. Just saying it's how top10 lists are done.
