Bungie was using Activision as a publisher but were otherwise still wholly independent so no.

It’s whatever the corporate equivalent of small dick energy is.

To me the frustrating thing is the people cheering this on. I don’t want the early ‘90s, everything is on one platform or the other but not both environment! Independence is good!

Monopoly: Video Game Publishing Edition.

That’s so shady. I love it.

Sony announced their buy out of Bungie the day the Halo Trailer dropped.

Man, thats Spiteful.

Man AAA development is in a concerning state

They just made it look like the actress more. I also bet the first time we see her “materialize” she’ll be blue / coded as an homage to the original, and then she’ll shift into this new look.  Would have preferred her as blue throughout but it’s not a deal

I include myself in this because I’ve

Good, keep this going.  Stories like the TT one yesterday prove without a doubt that Unions are 100% necessary in this industry.

it was only 16 minutes long

This is what happens when Zuckerberg or Musk or whatever other prophet of the Church of $$$ comes up with some new buzzword.  Zuck says “metaverse” and everyone who thinks there’s a dollar to be made starts churning out low-rent shit like this to get in early without knowing or caring that they’re just reinventing a

this is so incredibly lame, I swear to god

They love the game of monopoly. They've been playing it for 35 years
