No.
58 Seconds. That’s how far I made it. That noisescape is aural hell.
I think that video is the first one I’ve actually watched of hers and Jesus, how do people stomach listening to that fake cute voice she puts on most of the time? Occasionally she was letting it slip as she went into detail about a thing, but then would pick it right back up while forcing unnatural enthusiasm for her…
If I hear of any game doing this, I won’t play. If it invades gaming as a whole, I’ll find a better hobby. In short, it’s a terrible idea. I hope everyone involved suffers a series of embarrassing accidents that have everyone laughing in their faces for all time.
What is the obsession with making armies of white people invading a country the protagonists against a culturally foreign evil?
It is literally a game about displaced refugees shooting each other in the face after massive climate change lol. Nobody really cares but the obvious lie that they just threw darts at a topic board for the idea is super funny and shows how fearful these companies are of an alt-right boycott that will never come no…
On the one hand, it’s kind of sad how dependent Akihabara is on tourists. On the other hand, if you’ve been there, you can kind of understand why locals tend to avoid the place.
RE is still hot, even an old game like RE4 (it’s been ported to almost everything). It’s possible that it was only recently brought to their attention, and it’s also possible that they were waiting a bit to build a proper case.
one thing that the Polygon report mentions is that the Capcom hack from last year revealed the same file names in both RE4 and the book, so probably that was the smoking gun that pushed this lawsuit forward.
This is clearly a conspiracy; bots buy all the PS5s, so other bots get jobs playing the PS5 games. The singularity is upon us.
“Companires aren’t democracies”
I mean, Blizzard hasn’t had that status in over a decade, but when it did have that status, I would argue it deserved it. Warcraft 2-3, Starcraft, Diablo 2, WoW... like they had hit after hit after hit. For a while, they COULD do no wrong, at least not game-wise.
Remember a time when Blizz could do no wrong and got away with so much shit no other company could get away with because hardcore gamers had a big old boner for everything Blizz and now they have shit the bed and Blizz gets to be treated like any other company?
And thus begins the Koticization of Overwatch.
You say this, but the amount of high level brain drain in Blizzard over the past few years is pretty strong. Several of the high profile exits have moved to join Morhaime’s new company. Blizzard is already under pressure from Activision, and as the old guard leaves we aren’t seeing many to take their places (at least…
I almost expect blizzard to triple down on monetization
I’m suspicious of how sudden this feels, but maybe the signs were there and I missed them. Things have been so turbulent at ActivisionBlizzard lately I just can’t help but go “hmm.”
