I can do both :)
I can do both :)
My question here is the following...if China clearly has the capability of creating their own things technically, why do they rip off so much from outside?
In terms of movies and games, why can’t they just create their own ideas? Is it because they are banned or something or just because its easier to rip off?
The game does feel like it has some bad gameplay and story elements in some areas, but I enjoy it nontheless.
Its close to a collectathon like old platformers even if the elements are very simplified.
I think the gravity mechanics could be handled better and improved, doing more experimental things than just walking on…
Yep and if they were erased no one would care, ever since Microsoft bought them they haven’t produced a single compelling game, all theyve done is ride on their legacy.
I really liked the Remaster edition which released a few months ago (Im about to play it in a few minutes actually), but the game does feel like its for a portable system, it feels small and the things you can do are very limited.
I like the character a lot and the gravity mechanics are fantastic so I hope they expand…
Battleborn has taunts and skins you earn within the game, this new stuff is extra, there are already things you can unlock without paying.
I have the feeling that Microsoft only keeps them alive because of the studio’s legacy, most of the people that made the company what it was are long gone, some went on to form the new Playtonic Games.
Anyways, if this game doesn’t deliver or its development takes too long, I think they might go away just as Lionhead…
Thats not really Rare anyways, this is the real Rare.
They do, but thats not what I was getting at.
Microsoft has always suffered from lack of good, quality first party games and developers.
This Microsoft owned Rare is not the Nintendo Rare we used to know and love, that one died long ago so I think its time we stop thinking they will make a comeback, cause that won’t happen.
Playtonic Games is the closest thing to old Rare now.
Anyways, the game looks fun, as a person who went on a sail boat for many…
When is a game truly “dead” or “dying”?
Those steam numbers only reflect steam, its not counting PS4 or X1 users which this game is mostly targeted for, since MOBAs are still something kind of new to consoles.
Everyone claims games to be dead all the time, just because its not Overwatch numbers does it mean its dead?
How…
Neither is Overwatch and it has microtransactions since launch.
“They don’t best you over the head with it, and character progression is so quick that I’ve never been compelled to spend my money. It’s there if you need it, but not required.”
Same will be in Battleborn.
Gaemz jurnalisms right?
Just like Destiny, Overwatch is their critical darling, it can do no wrong.
Also doesn’t help that when you try to point out this, you get nothing but zealous fanboys who can’t take any negative opinions about their beloved waifu TF2 clone.
1. You can still get skins and taunts by just playing Battleborn.
2. I don’t care either since it doesn’t affect gameplay in either game, the problem here being that when one game does it people cry about it but when the other does it no one bats an eye.
Damn its a shame this is 1 player only :(
Care to point me to the research done about this?
Im not surprised by this at all, since it won’t have any sort of effect on the actual game why make a big fuzz about it?
Oh right, Kotaku hates Battleborn, and ever since comparisons with Overwatch started you guys have made some pretty biased articles and give one more exposure than the other.
Pssstt you missed this:
You do realize that a lot of people dont like a fucking screen in front of their eyes right? it causes motion sickness and eye strain after a few minutes of use.
VR is not the future because not everyone will enjoy it and the potential health risks will cause people to refrain from constant use.
I tried it at home, I had a dev kit and I didnt enjoy it after 15 minutes.
Happy?
VR is a fad.
