What don’t you get? Even games like Rainbow Six Siege which add free characters have a system in place where you have to purchase them, unless you have the season pass which unlocks them for you right away.

Its free in the sense that if you want them, you gotta keep playing but at least you don’t have to pay extra.

living the dream!

Ive actually had some good replies worthy of reading and commenting to, unlike yours.

Yes I like Battleborn, so what? Its not what I was talking about, because clearly if you say something opposite to the general opinion about Overwatch, youre commiting a sin.

On PC, consoles its $60

Im sure they will support it, they have the fanbase and money to do so, but Overwatch is a new property unlike their major 3, which were all games that came out in the 90s and have enjoyed a good amount of time building their following.

The competition in the shooter genre is a lot more heated and thats where Im

See this is the type of replies I like to read, well thought out and objective, instead of all the people defending the game like its their mother or something.

Thank you

Salt and bias? no, Im being quite objective here unlike everyone else in the comments who only have praises and tears of joy for Overwatch.

I did, I was playing as D.Va mostly throught the beta, she still sounded like a butchered korean-english accent.

And thats a shame, since Blizzard games were some of the first I ever played on PC back in the 90s, they used to put a bit more depth into their games but they suddenly started to go for the more casual “popular” route through WoW’s life.

Nothing wrong with that of course if it means more money for them, but to a

They did? huh, news to me.

Well no I never claimed Overwatch was a bad game, just that I found it too simple for my taste and I would have liked something with a bit more depth, Ill get the game eventually, but not for $60.

One thing I do think is that the game is overly hyped up.

This idea that you can switch characters on the fly is basically like switching classes/loadouts, its nothing particularly new or different than what other class based shooters have done.

The only difference being than instead of random classes its specific heroes, the concept is still the same.

I like games with

You keep throwing the name Randy like it means something

I didnt feel like that “depth” was there during the beta and I quickly lost interest.

I know what a Tracer will play as when I see one, same with Widowmaker, same with Roadhog, etc etc.

You cant change what each will do because if you try, youll end up screwing up yourself or the team.

If I could modify Mercy to be less

Just shut up please, youve been schooled.

Youre an idiot, admit it, you wanted to play with fire and got burned.

Now playing

Exactly, you know what other multiplayer only games were hyped as fuck?

Evolve, Titanfall and Battlefront.

These were all y hyped up, tons of articles written about them and how they were going to be the next “big” thing.

Months later, their populations dropped because there was a lack of content and and depth.

Im a dumbass? well lets see how you look after this:

I never expected the game to have or even rival Overwatch’s level of popularity, this never has stopped me from playing it.

If I was going by popularity alone I would have missed on a lot of good games, Gearbox is not Blizzard.

You know which other game fell of the map real fuckin’ quick? Battlefront, Evolve,
