The beta is pretty much what the game will launch with fyi

Bad idea, terrible if I might say.

Its just like Destiny “you want a story?” “read the codex online!”

Fantastic idea! and people dont even give shit to Blizzard for doing this.

Compared to Battleborn? Overwatch has all the spotlight on Kotaku, there hasnt even been a review yet for it...

Just like Destiny, one thing all of these games have in common is....ACTIVISION/BLIZZARD!

I tried out the beta yesterday and Im not impressed.

Things I like:

-The art style, the colorful and varied (if at times, token steryotypes) cast of characters and the fluidity of the animations and movement.

Things I dislike:

Can Battlefield FINALLY have playable female soldiers or no?

Even CoD beat them to it.

I was tempted but no, I did not. As a matter of fact I havent bought DLC for games since I switched from 360 to PS4. Im going with a “wait and see” approach to DLC now.

Well Overwatch isnt TF2 also the landscape of online shooters has changed a lot since that came out, people expect more than what they offer these days.

Like I said, Evolve, Titanfall and Battlefront are examples of online shooters that while having solid gameplay and a lot of hype behind them, ultimately fell of the

That is true and I have loved their games since WC2, but being a multiplayer shooter only I have my fears.

Ill try the beta too, like Battleborn that will make me decide if I will buy it or not.

Since this is a multiplayer only game I have a certain fear, the last few multiplayer only games Ive played have been mediocre (Battlefront, Evolve, Titanfall)

she does, she will be unlocked for free if you played the beta too which is why i want them to release her asap :)

I lost interest because there isnt much to do at end game except the Dark Zone and repeating missions on higher difficulty, which unless you have a very dedicated team with good equipment its nearly impossible.

Add to that the fact that New York is just plain boring, I know they are acurately recreating the city but

Yeah I bought it digital too, game is just so mundane after you beat it, it doesn’t have the legs to continue for too long I feel.

After beating that game in march, I don’t know why I should even go back to play it, it was a mistake to buy it at full price.

Im loving the game but two things I don’t like:

- Mission structure: all of the 8 missions can be done at random, without a linear progression which makes it kind of difficult to understand the story they want to tell. Of course the story in the game is quite light, but they could have put a bit more effort on this.

-

Its a shame Activision didn’t see the value in this franchise and actually give it some respect, but since they are making lots of money each year why would they?

This is a franchise that changes as trends shift, I wouldn’t be surprised if it returns to WW2 or Modern Warfare soon once the sci fi/futuristic theme runs

This game was fun...for a month.

Beat it and I have no urge to go back, despite the Dark Zone being the “end content” for guns, I feel like they could have invested a little more into other type of activities and things to do in the city as well as a better clothing options.

I don’t know their plans going forward but I

This and pineapple pizza should be illegal, get you fined and sent to for desecrating the idea of what a pizza is.

Im a big fan of 2D animation, but some parts of this intro felt a bit off, characters would look great in one instance but then flat and simple in another.

The intro was also a bit too long for my taste, but still good.

A Wes Anderson Star Fox film wouldn’t be a bad idea I think
