ok, so whats the point of the game? just being an object?

You can do that in any 3D program, whats the goal of the game here?

Just got MK XL this weekend, so far Im enjoying it but Im a bit disappointed with the new kast of kharacters, they dont do it for me at all.

Still going for the klassics like Sub Zero.

I didn’t expect this to get canceled, but the game just wasn’t getting enough attention from players as I think they wanted, it didn’t look unique in terms of gameplay and probably wouldn’t have sold very well either.

I played and enjoyed all 3 of the Fable games, while not the most revered franchise they were still

I played CS in high school for fun with friends, but the only games I ever played competively back then were RTS (SC, WC3 and AoE2).

Ive never played a shooter that actually required that much strategy or thinking, except maybe the first 2 Rainbow Six games.

Excuse me but, what exactly is bad about this game?

Sure Im not a fan of the “chibi” looking characters and this would be much, much better as a regular game and not for handheld but, it looks ok to me.

So whats the problem here? explain please

Havent got that far yet

Out of all the buddies in the game, shes my least favorite, DD is my partner, always !

I believe so

That too, but then pretty much any game these days has kids in it (GTA5 is a good example despite it being a game for teens and adults).

I guess those can be improvements in gameplay but nothing that defined the genre for the next few years like the Heroes did (with MOBAs).

There was an RTS that released a few year after WC3 called Armies of Exigo which did something completely different in terms of having different levels on maps, having caves below

They also lack any sort of diversity, yes you have numerous different heroes with a series of skills and abilities, but at the end of the day the whole gameplay idea remains the same, there is little room for experimentation since each base has a fortified set of buildings and minions which prevents you from doing any

Besides Heroes, not much else actually.

I love games that have a “childish” style to them as long as they are competent games.

I think it was free for everyone, PS+ subscribers or not, I could be wrong though.

Ok? so what should I play then?

Ill be honest, never in a million years I would have played or payed for the first game, but then we got it for free in late 2014 on PS4 so Im glad we did because it was a lot of charming fun.

Although Ive been sort of disappointed with multiplayer only games lately (Battlefront, Evolve) so I might wait a little and

And thats exactly the problem in a way, RTS sort of killed itself by promoting twitchy, fast gameplay over prolongue combat with interesting units and strategies.

We live in an age where people want to play something quick for a few minutes, either because they lack time or interest.

This is why MOBAs and Call of Duty

I agree with you completely, I liked the slower paced nature of some of the earlier RTS games too like WC2 and Age of Empires. However people quickly found strategies and build orders to increase production of resources and units and this eventually was something the developers worked into the game, thus alienating

Although not the best of examples, Halo Wars and Universe at War were 2 console examples that I think worked well, but not perfectly.

I do understand not being able to transition from PC to console hurts sales, but then RTS was never attempted to become a staple genre on consoles despite numerous attempts.

However

Even when SC2 came out and I played it day one, I felt like the game brought too little to the table, it was mostly a visual upgrade to the original (and not for the better).

The story was terrible, some of the units were nice, but in general it didnt feel like the game wanted to push forward in terms of what it could
