Seems that spelling “bait” wrong wasn’t part of your joke, but I just can’t tell.

As a white, male lawyer with 2 kids (and a twitter account) I partially disprove your comment.

Sure four people died in Benghazi, but that was supposedly Obama’s fault when the GOP tried to capitalize on it in 2012 — when did it become something Hillary did?

It would be funny (also tragic) if they use the Russia stuff to impeach Trump and put Pence in charge. Politically I’d hate it, but for the long-term safety of the union, I think that’s probably better.

Don’t forget that Bannon is formerly of Goldman too.

I think wearing gloves to play flag football is more rare than wearing a baseball cap casually.

I like to think of the tax break as the return on the money I had I taken it as income and paid tax on it (and I’m at something like 35%, so that’s a pretty good start), and then even though you’re compounding returns with funds that probably have too high of fees, etc. you just can’t lose because of the tax break.

What? I think you completely misread that. I have no desire to go in a church because I’m an aethiest. I’m just saying you shouldn’t lump everyone together — like you did again here. It’s pretty fucked up to paint with that broad of a brush when you’re complaining about discrimination and prejudice.

They are basically mad at the other people that have the same problems they do. This is an outgrowth of early 1900s southern politics when the elites realized they better quickly drive a wedge between poor whites and poor blacks because they had all started voting together (google fusion party NC 1900 — here’s an

same 1/3 of the country bitching about college kids needing safe spaces, meanwhile they look at the 1950s as their safe space.

Every time you hear someone bitch about how political correctness has run amok, remember this kind of speech is what they think we’re wrong for criticizing. It’s not enforcing politeness, it’s demanding people be treated like fucking people.

I hope people just mean the TV media, because print did an amazing job of highlighting all the problems with Trump — and it just seemed no one was reading.

Yeah, that’s why they hadn’t done any planning for the transition nor for winning generally. Hillary had fireworks and everything and Trump had his mini-me cake.

Nah. The useful polling is done at the state level and a lot of it wasn’t as good because they sort of treated changes like something was wrong rather than changing. Basically they need to make assumptions for the polling models and when they saw big changes they recalibrated assumptions assuming they were wrong

That’s 33x more than many of the other polls. Plus they published articles like these:

This article and the underlying idea of shitting on Silver, who published podcasts and articles that said Trump had a better chance than people understood and also whose model gave him a 35x better chance than HuffPo and others did, is all bad and dumb. 538 had several articles ahead of the election explaining why

Just what you save on taxes by maxing a 401 is better than most people will ever return in the market. Add to that that you can roll them into IRAs when you change jobs and trade stocks with the same tax benefits and I highly recommend maxing a 401 if you can.

If I’m not overreaching, start with the Wealthy Barber, then read anything Peter Lynch or Warren Buffet writes on long term investing. Lynch says think like a gardener, let the good ones grow, prune the medium ones and get rid of the weeds (and expect 3 to die, 3 or 4 to be meh, and a few to do great out of every ten

Way to dispute the least important part of the point. How does the distinction that that’s actually a response to Pres. Obama talking about Trump winning change anything relevant about the point being made? Big pedantic points for you, but other than that, why bother? I guess you probably felt really smart for a

Because Trump will do whatever you say if he thinks you like him, and in being nice for like an hour Obama has probably salvaged big chunks of Obamacare. If he’s teaching Trump how to be president, he’ll have a tremendous amount of influence on the Trump presidency — does this really require explanation? It seems
