I've been a big fan since the original Codename 47, and the franchise sticks out as a prime example of a high quality, non-linear, player choice driven experience. Was it difficult to balance maintaining that level of openness and freedom with the need to direct less-experienced players to their targets?

Got the CE when it came out, along with a game time card. Didn't extend my sub, waited for the game to go F2P, and now I have to pay in-game currency or re-sub in order to access all kinds of stuff that my character could use before. I have to admit, it's a dirty tactic, but I am actually a little tempted to re-sub...

Beat me to it.

Glad to see Dishonored on here. Even more glad there isn't a single CoD title or other modern war macho shoot-em-up (no, Gears doesn't exactly count in that category).

Yes, exactly what I thought when I first saw the image. I was looking to see if they were going to build the inner ring and whether there was an axis for rotation.

Yup, this is exactly why I have never and will never purchase any Apple products or services. They may have a great UI, or fantastic video/music editing capabilities. I don't care. They also have the most enclosed digital ecosystem in all multimedia. Their success has effectively told MS that this is okay, and they

Yeah I don't know if you'll even read this considering your original post was three days ago, but I loved 3 and then found New Vegas to be a whole new level of awesome. Everything about the setting, factions, writing, and even the gameplay mechanics and perks was improved over 3. Surprising, because the Elder Scrolls

I feel no guilt in stealing from the rich (in Tenpenny Tower from 3, or the Silver Rush in NV) and as long as I feel the party whom I'm robbing is on morally shakier ground than my character. I don't steal from the needy, poor, or generally disenfranchised. In Fallout, that means 98% of the population (kind of like

The best games I have played on the Vita are, sadly, PS1 games. Don't get me wrong, I love my PS1 classic titles, and I've been having a blast playing FF7, RE2, and MGS all over again. Problem is, I haven't found a great reason to play any of the Vita-specific titles I own since the PS1 compatibility kicked in. Except

This makes me sooo glad I sold my Kinect.

My favorite terrible quicktime event? How about the one in RE6 - the one that seems to last throughout the entirety of Leon's opening chapter. I didn't even feel like continuing to play the game after the sequence with the first door, and then the car...

They should get John Carmack involved in Fallout 4, to implement the AI movements systems they employed with RAGE. That fluidity, the variations and distinctiveness of it's enemies' AI made up for the brevity, for me. To see it in something as massive and feature-packed as a genuine Bethesda Game Studios game would be

I completed a quest line involving the proprietor of the Silver Rush in such a way that allowed me to rob the whole place blind, and not feel guilty. Due to the inherently evil nature of the staff there, I stayed within the bounds of my character's alignment and obliterated a dangerous threat to wasteland security

Pretty sure they made the flashlight attach to your suit in this re-release, effectively fixing my biggest complaint with the game. Good enough reason to pick it up again, I guess.

I was moved to support EA again when they started publishing new IP again, back in '08 when Dead Space 1 and Mirror's Edge came out. The partners program that enabled them to help get Brutal Legend and even the Orange Box out there in the market. I was supporting them, but their time has passed. I still refuse to

This would be awesome... if I hadn't already gotten them included with the Square Enix bundle on Steam.

Dishonored = pre-ordered, day one purchase.

That's okay. At this development rate we'll all be long gone from the face of the earth before Diablo 4 comes out.

+1 for working in a reference (and screenshot!) from Day of the Tentacle!

Sooo excited for this game. I've followed the Hitman franchise since it's "inception" (haha) and have enjoyed every entry thoroughly. Nice to see so many nuanced improvements and overall attention to detail. It has been a long time since Blood Money came out, and between this and Dishonored I have a feeling that the
