Thank you Stephen. You've helped me make up my mind about whether or not to purchase Resident Evil 6. I wanted to think that the negativity had been overstated, that the game might have actually had some kind of merit left in it. Even after the DLC scandals, Inafune's departure, and the utter desecration of the

So I picked up the SW: KotOR games the other day on Steam (played them on the OG Xbox, but it had been long enough that I thought they deserved another go). Chose to start a Scoundrel class, and realized immediately that he needed to be named Malcolm Reynolds.

Advice heeded. I just hope and pray that someone else listens and decides to spend their money elsewhere also. You know, Dishonored looks amazing and comes out next Tuesday...

Halo, definitely.

*clap clap clap* Bravo, good sir.

It is totally worth whatever trouble it takes to find, secure, and run a copy (legally, of course). And it can run absolutely flawless in Windows 7. One of my all-time favorites that I make a point to go back and play every year or so. I would hope that Tim Schafer and the folks over at Double Fine would want to do a

Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition - I don't care about the technical flaws in the port job, what matters to me is that I get a whole new community of gamers to share my favorite RPG of all time.

Not if you trade it in. If Nintendo is going to allow the transfer of VC games you would need to keep your Wii.

Probably because Capcom does own the rights to the Megaman IP... one of the reasons Inafune left was to be able to finally own his creations instead of having them taken over by his publisher... so yeah...

Just like when RE: ORC came out and they shoved in a ton of on-disc DLC, then made the Nemesis mode a timed 360 exclusive. Or when they stuck the RE6 demo on the Dragon's Dogma disc, and locked it up as a timed 360 exclusive. You win, Capcom! I'm officially not even interested in your products anymore!

As long as the Criterion Blu-Ray release of the original Videodrome is still out there, it's okay. Remakes can be safely ignored.

Does this mean that Ubisoft is not releasing Assassin's Creed III on Steam? If that's the case, they are going to lose a lot of potential sales, but I guess the numbers have already shown that most of the legitimate (i.e. non-pirating) customers out there have already decided not to pick up their PC titles.

Actually, I do eat a Baconator every time I go to Wendy's, and not for the privilege of "I can say I did it" but because I do, in fact, NEED that much bacon on my cheeseburger.

Give this gentleman a star, please. This is exactly the cogent argument I want every parent in America to hear. I just wish sometimes that the average parent would stop and think about their child's well-being for a minute before picking up CoD or Battlefield and realize that the choices they make now will impact

I work there (not for long now!) and selling PC Downloads games was my least favorite thing about the job. Pushing the pre-orders and magazines is annoying enough, but selling someone a game digitally and knowing full well that they would have to call a bunch of customer support numbers to try and get their issues

Exactly. I have been playing on PC and consoles for years and have finally decided that I will build an ultimate rig for PC gaming and Steam will be the only digital games client ever installed on that system. If Ubisoft lets us buy their games from Steam, that's fine. If they, like EA, refuse to allow their games
