the "flashback" to Rebecca in a facility, wasn't a hint that she is still there, and the whole series is imaginary?

I expect Fairuza Balk is available.
Lusitania.
Even with Netflix' rise and current stature of original programming, don't producers still hope for a TV network when they hawk their show? The CW isn't the tops, but it's still pumped into a lot of homes. It's all in flux, so who knows what we'll see in 5 years.
Oh man, that song from Company… damn that would have been awesome! I assume Paula would take the soprano part: "Bless this bride, Totally insane, Slipping down the drain…"
That would be the drinking?
I imagine that some who've tried but disliked CEG are not appreciating the combination of Rebecca's serious issues with a musical comedy frame. It's jarring to people who prefer drawing firmer lines between genres.
(I was trading on my username, and making a little in-joke there…)
(I'll say it before someone else does: that's a 30 Rock joke. But thank you!)
The audience did applaud and cheer at the very start of the sketch when McCarthy entered, BUT, then the camera panned to the reporters and back to her, and as she talked they cheered again much more vigorously, as if recognizing her at that point. SNL always does all the sketches in dress rehearsal, right? So they…
Yeah he should have an everyday-white-guy name, like… I don't know… maybe "Wesley Snipes".
Stewart wasn't really good enough to earn another hosting gig in future anyway, except for her filmed bits. Her discomfort in the monologue was so odd that if you'd lived in a cave and didn't know who she was, you'd never guess she's been acting for 15 years. But we can replay the Totino's scene forever, that'd be…
McCarthy was amazing. Talk about fully committed to the part as an actor; she never showed a hint of breaking, despite big laughs from the audience in a very funny scene that she carried alone. Her impression calls back to her character in Bridesmaids a bit, which I love.
Like him or not, if you are fiercely opposed to the monumental stupidity of Trump's ridiculous presidency, then Maher is on your side.
First time I visited coastal California, I was amazed by the abundance of rail-less roads and paths from which one could easily topple from great height and plunge to one's death.
Let's hope she quotes Melville more wisely than she did Shakespeare, when her note as Josh's Soup Fairy ("To sleep, perchance to dream…") unwittingly suggested suicide.
Thank the Lord that the Catholic clergy have such a severe process, otherwise they might end up with some criminally-inclined priests.
He seriously needs White Josh to, if I may borrow from the great Kenny Powers, fuck him up with some truth. A sudden bizarre turn to the seminary makes no more sense than a rushed engagement and marriage to Rebecca.
At least the suggestion wasn't Afternoon Delight (right, Lindsay?)
He's a legit Broadway star, and not just a one-off, but leading roles in multiple plays and musicals (impressive by any measure)… He did CEG for a debut season that was *extremely* lucky to get renewed, so we can't really fault him for expecting to head back to NY when he did. If there was friction as you say,…
