I hope it continues to be "a thing" for new fans, for the same reason that some of us think certain music from 50 years ago (or 100, or 500 years ago) is relevant: because it's fascinating and compelling and worthwhile. Buffy recedes into the past but has a strength of character and story, like so many other plays,

I watched the premiere on March 10, 1997, because I saw the WB promos and thought, this girl is amazingly cute and sexy. (Still in college at the time, so… creep factor relatively minimal.) I continued watching and became a huge fan, because the show was awesome — and Sarah was a superb, compelling lead from day

Beric and Thoros! Sweet lord of light, I missed those guys. If we're going to get an Episode 8 that's mostly talk and little action, at least the talking features them and Sandor.

I'd tell you my view of Bridget Everett's foul interactions with the unfortunate people who go to her shows, but I already got a comment removed once today, over in a Lena Dunham-related thread.

I loved when the Maester leaned in to counsel, and she's like, "Talk to the hand. I don't need your advice on every fucking thing."

Where is Ser Maurice Chevalier when we need him?

Also, young Lord Arryn is being weaned off the teat of… uhh… yeah.

Gilfoyle needs friends? Count me in. He's awesome.

Sometimes the image of her in that pink satin robe is all that sustains me.

MILANA VAYNTRUB IS BACK yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes!

I'd never seen that SNL sketch, so I just tracked it down. The actors start to break of course, and a crew member is partially seen as they try to fix glitches, but it's actually pretty impressive how they changed camera angles to hide the problem, and cut to Dratch's "TV" feed directly when the on-set TV went out.

Great to see Jemaine Clement! And the other guest actors were good too. (I totally missed the Two Beckys gag, I'm embarrassed to say.)
