I was going to say the same thing.  Quoth George Carlin, "When did we become nostalgic over the idea of ' a little while ago?'"

That has to be the strangest double billing I've ever seen.

It's scaring me that I know exactly where that Sportmart is and live probably 10 minutes away. And yes, Interpol is definitely early- to mid-aughts nostalgia, despite the fact that the early- to mid-aughts sucked balls.

Peckinpah.  Cronenberg.  Scorsese.  Kubrick.  Beat Takeshi. Lynch.  Haneke.  All live at the intersection of sex and violence.  Eros and Thanatos.  Pop and pretension.  Glad to see them (almost) all represented in this list.

I thought the same thing, but then I changed my pants and washed the shit out of the old pair, and I was able to watch and enjoy a fictional television series that likes to dabble in surrealism and absurdity.

No other show has ever captured the human process of mundane, everyday struggle, the act that gets you from sunrise to sunset intact, despite the utter Sisyphean gauntlet of it all.  Just that shot of Louie on the bus, in utter despair, but trying to push through, with almost no help for a real payoff, is rewarding.

Honestly, I can't see a reason why anyone wouldn't rent out a holodeck/suite to be their personal orgy tent, at least as an interim activity between real life. Maybe unless they were already in a committed relationship.  And for anyone who says that they'd also use it for adventures and the period pieces we'd see on
