My favorite (/s) response to Dessen’s tweet was when someone replied “Fuck that fucking bitch.”, and Dessen replied to that with “I love you. [heart emoji]”.

Shutting down the only dedicated politics website in your portfolio right before the 2020 election, one of the most consequential of our lifetime, kicks into high gear. Essentially shutting down the second-most highly trafficked website in your portfolio because one out of every twenty five posts rankles you. I’m not…
Oh, very good point. I think I’ve rewatched that show three times and it stays funny as hell.
I just commented elsewhere that a list of 100 shows and nary an Arigato Hey!! in sight!
A criminal oversight. That show was ahead of its time.
See HBO, you can end a story properly. :D
The definitive biopic of Harriet Tubman has already kinda been done
Or better yet Great Hill Partners has two seats on the G/O board. Perhaps they should be tipped off to the great work Spanfeller is doing.
I wrote a sci-fi book that’s coming out next March; it’s called OTAKU and it’s kind of a love-hate letter to gaming culture, but with a whole lot more thrown in. If you want to pre-order it that’d be cool, if not no worries.
Just sent Jim an email telling him how much I love the new “no sports at all” direction the website is going.
I, also, have enjoyed the company of pyramid puppies at Teotihuacán and may I just say: they sure are fucking adorable.
Just wishing all of you the best. This situation sucks, your management sucks even worse, and I hope all the staff makes it through to the other side at a place where you’re actually appreciated.
I was there in April of this year. That dog from the pyramids has a name and it is Preztelcoatl. But you are correct that it is indeed a good dog.
wait i am really waiting for is their non-G/O media email addresses to be released.
I am extremely interested in this afternoon’s Funbag.
Can confirm. These certainly appear to be three very good dogs.
As someone who was once part of a similar insurrection against arrogant, incompetent, and condescending management, I want to applaud all of y’all for today’s showing. I’m sure you’re simultaneously enjoying the fun of mutiny while also understanding the risk. Please also know how much it means to us here in the feebl…
These dogs are most certainly more deserving of human compassion and love than say, Jim Spanfeller (who by the way, if you didn’t know, has an email address: jim@g-omedia.com). That stain deserves to hear why a dog is more noble and deserving of human love and affection than he is.
These are extremely good dogs, Tom. Thank you.
