Hooray for the return of the reviews!

Mytly,
I didn't forget. I'm actively trying to block that one from my memory. :D But yes, definitely one of the worst episodes ever. The fact that it somehow was graded a straight A here while this one was graded an A- is inexplicable.

I have to disagree that this season is remotely close to being the best they've done (at the very least last season was stronger and more consistent). I think this episode actually demonstrates why: because the very qualities that made this one so great have been lacking too often this season.

The first season was easily the weakest. The show's evolved a lot since then. The second season is still the best, but this was an exceptionally strong episode and certainly worth watching to show you what the show's like now (even if it's not always this good).

After seeing this, I'm sure The Farm would have been an absolutely terrible series, because the half of this episode dedicated to it was truly shiteous.

This easily deserves an A. One of the best of the season, and quite possibly the series, managing a perfect balance between humor and heart. I genuinely got choked up when everyone revealed the possible contents of the letters. I love seeing these characters being portrayed as genuine friends who care about each

A really good old-school style episode…until the end.

Agreed—it's a fun formula, and I thought this episode was a blast. Great atmosphere, excellent work from Luke MacFarlane (who was obviously the bad guy, even though I was kind of hoping he wouldn't be since he's someone I would have liked to see becoming a recurring player) after the reveal, especially in the final

I have to admit, this episode nearly made me cry. For all the talk of how mean, mean, mean this show is to the poor old nerds, I see it as having a great deal of empathy for its characters and for people who don't fit in. When Raj's love interest admitted that she's not comfortable around people and tries to force

No, more like a recurring guest star. I think this is the third episode he's appeared in; he was in the pilot, then showed up again a few weeks ago, then again in this one.

For some reason, I thought Simone would only be in three episodes and I kept waiting for them to get rid of her…but it never happened. Disappointing. The relationship is falling flat and I'm ready for her to go away.

Best episode in ages. Better yet, hopefully it'll light a fire under Emily's ass and she'll start getting shit done again.

I enjoy Scandal, but I have no idea how to rank it in comparison to other shows because it's so thoroughly doing its own thing. There are so many (MANY) things I could nitpick and/or just plain don't work, and things that, judged by normal standards of what is "good" TV, are pretty lousy. Yet the whole thing is just

Now THAT was the show I love. After last week’s journey into
Two-and-a-Half-Men-style “everybody hates each other” toxicity, it was a relief
to see the show rediscover the inherent sweetness that’s one of the best things
about it. Still a bit too much bickering (hey, remember when this was a show
about a group of friends

Yep, 8:30 and 9. NBC really can't do anything right.

If it makes you feel better, it's not really an hour-long wedding episode. NBC lied (big shocker). It's two separate episodes they're airing back-to-back. The first episode is the wedding; the second is something else entirely.

I think my favorite part was seeing that Beverly Leech is still working, even if the reminder of just how long it's been since her Mathnet days (and my 3rd grade days) made me feel really old.

He didn't say "Oh, I'm living here now." Penny asked, "Where are you going to go?" and he said, "I was thinking here with you. (beat) Is that a problem?" He even followed it up later, after picking up her cues, with "It sounds like you don't want us living together." To which she replied, "No, no." The opening was

As always, thank God for this show. The saving grace on an otherwise mediocre to terrible night of TV comedy.

This episode was shit. I know Leonard gets a lot of flack for being rude to his friends and needy with Penny, but episodes like this are why I never blame him in the least. Indeed, it justifies exactly why he's always so pissy. This was Sheldon at his worst, an complete asshole with no redeeming or sympathetic
