I used to live in the LA area, and there were plenty of 24-hour Ralph's supermarkets (which I seem to recall at least one of the characters mentioned they shopped at before). Getting pies at any time of day or night would have been no big deal.

Some of us have devices that allow us to watch one after the other, perfectly filling that dead zone where Up All Night and Two and a Half Men coexist.

Easily an A. The best episode in ages, and a contender for one of the best ever. Every single member of the ensemble got a moment to show off their ace timing and how good they are, no relationship bullshit dragging anything down, and so many genuinely laugh-out-loud moments. All of Sheldon's Pictionary bits.

I think I read somewhere that the character/actor is only supposed to be recurring on the show, not a regular. But yeah, if that's the case, it's something they need to explain character-wise on the show (like, George can't make it to every session for some reason).

I agree with all of the above. The group members were being assholes, yet I thought this was the best episode yet. Even though I recognized they were being jerks, the whole "Are you stupid?" bit made me laugh (maybe because Julie White is awesome and can sell anything), and they ultimately redeemed themselves. Yeah, Penny's just not a very good friend, much like how she set Bernadette up with Howard and didn't tell her about his past. Bernadette's "I thought you were my friend!" when she found out after the bachelor part is still one of the most human moments this show's ever had.

I started writing a response before realizing it's already in my original post, though notably you didn't bother quoting that part. I don't disagree with a lot of what you say and yet, as I wrote in my original post, I "usually am willing to overlook many of [the show]'s flaws." They keep it from being a truly great

Wow. I love the show and usually am willing to overlook many of its flaws…but that episode was terrible. Three godawful main plots that went nowhere and ended (or didn't end) in a way that guaranteed the same conflicts will be rehashed yet again. There were moments when I actually thought the show was going to move

This show's officially getting recaps now? Awesome!

Happy to see this one getting some, if not love, then affection. I had no idea it was so hated. Definitely one of my favorites of S6.
