I was a little worried after the Christmas episode that they were going to stop messing with Jerry, and was very pleased this week to find that that was not the case.

I think it was just Babe.

I think it was just Babe.

The girls' arc was completely redeemed by the ending with Ken Hotate.  But you're right that it did kind of drag before that.

Ahh, clouds and a tree.  Much cuter up close like that… though not exactly something I'd propose as a tattoo design.

Why does the top 10 not seem to be ordered by any one criterion?  I would think that'd be the point of the TV Club Power Ranking number, and yet The Middle should be in 9th but is in 8th. Also, putting the formula that produces that power ranking number somewhere in the article would probably be a good idea.

I agree.  I often can only see part of it, and it looks like varicose veins rather than… I assume lightning, or whatever it's supposed to be.  But, tattoo aside, I think she's a pretty swell gal, and good-looking.

Now it's time for Zoidberg's song!

Awww….

Do it for Yoda while we serve our guests a soda!
Uh… And do it for Chewie and the Ewoks!
And all the other puppets?

Agreed on all counts (replacing "very" with "pretty").  It's weird to see Dan Bakkedahl play someone who isn't a complete slimeball, but he did well.  I coulda done without Fun. on the soundtrack, but whatever.

They should've changed their name to "Generic Cable Network" instead of SyFy.

The more recent ad is much more tolerable, containing a moderately amusing clip from the getting-a-hooker-for-DJ-Qualls scene.

Sounds interesting.  Guess I won't just channel-surf after Archer, then.

I think I saw those title cards as well.  They're a little meaningless to me, though, because I don't know in what year the main storyline takes place.  And the 48-year-old Dylan McDermott character was a hell of a noodle-scratcher.

That scene in Dr. Crump's office was really great.  Lange's acting there, especially when Crump told her Pepper had passed, really got to me.

It sounds like you're using "cartoony" as a negative descriptor, and yet you cite the conspiracy theory thing, the most cartoony part of the episode, as your favorite part?

I can't say I "root for her," but I do enjoy her from time to time, and I liked the way she looked in that "riding outfit."

I love me a good chemically-induced conspiracy theory.
