Catlyn's assurances that Jaime will face justice simply don't make sense anyway.  Everyone there knows that they are keeping Jaime alive to trade for the Stark girls.  Well, they can either make him "face justice", or they can trade him alive, but they're not doing both.

Well, you're even more wrong now. The idea that I think about a "Saint W" is absurd, and you just have no clue as to what I do and don't believe.  I was trying to make some commentary on the knee-jerk politics I observe at AV Club and boy, I really guess I was so wrong there….

I had expected the Wildlings to be virtually Cro-magnons, but they seem quite a bit more sophisticated than the hill folk Tyrion encountered in the Vale.  I'm not sure what made them the enemy.

So what's the general opinion about Littlefinger and Arya? Did he realize who she was, and is just waiting for the right moment to cash that chip?

The Greyjoys holding the North seems like a super short-term situation anyway.  Once Robb comes home with a real army, the Greyjoy's squads of a few dozen sailors are going to get obliterated.  Yara is probably smart enough to realize this.

Well, Jaime is only famous as the best fighter in Westeros, so no need to be cautious.

Do you mean to tell me that he was just a simple dockworker at one point, and is the richest man in Qarth now?

If this is the case, then Robert didn't even know he had a son.  When Robert and Ned are first headed south to King's Landing, Robert talks about Snow as if he is Ned's biological son, and asks Ned if he's ever going to tell him who the mother was.

Are you saying this based on the books? Because there's been nothing in the show to say that Lyanna didn't love Robert, and while barely mentioned, any talk of her vanishing with Rhaegar has not left room for it having been her own choice.

But Varys has some sort of relationship with the guy from Pentos (Illyrio or something like that) who was fostering the Targaeryan kids in the beginning.  I don't think he's a passionless observer here; he's just playing the long game.

Oh. So Obama is all "Black Males" now? I thought he was half white. You sound like one of those "one drop" racists from the Reconstruction South, you racist-y racist. Racist.

I was illustrating dickery by being dickish. Geez.  You guys really are humorless.  And you've no idea how right-wing I may or may not be.  I'd support Renley marrying Loris, so kiss my ass.

You're a pitch perfect parody of a humorless left winger who has to insert a Bush and/or Cheney and/or Palin bash into every single thread, no matter what the topic.

King of the Iron Islands bows to no man, as long as he's sitting in the Iron Islands.  He doesn't mean shit otherwise, which is pretty much the situation he was in already.

Yeah, but Jaime is only considered one of the most dangerous men on the planet.  Of course you'd enter his cell solo when there are thousands of allies literally seconds away, and then turn your back to him.

Besides, the rest of her body is getting to the point that hiding it seems silly.

I don't get the feeling that the physics of the thing are that well thought through.

I appreciate the warnings from everyone, and shall refrain from spoiling it for myself.

Well, he did have a reasonable expectation of being attacked by sea. Lannisport is barely more distant that the Iron Islands.

Meh to the Spice King.  How many more scenes did we need of him telling Dany that he wasn't going to back her group of riff-raff, even if she was the Mother of Dragons.  Thanks, we already did this part…
