Lynne Kresge, a nation turns its lonely eyes to you

The script makes it clear that it was all about the hackers.

Incidentally, Sarah plays the Vice President's daughter on another show about White House political intrigue … do I smell crossover??

Speaking of nerd-rage, a while back someone got mad at me on an AVC forum for saying that MLR had second billing on the show's final season, saying that I shouldn't try to speak for all fans. Apparently they thought that "billing" was a subjective measure of popularity among fans.

I'm amazed no one pointed out the error in the review: Jack is never "wired up for TORTURE." He's being interrogated in a standard fashion by Navarro (and briefly by Kate). It's made clear that only after he gets transferred to "Special Activities" will he face "enhanced interrogation."

You and David Letterman.

"More of a Leverage plot, isn't it?"

"There’s really never been anything on Modern Family to buttress the idea that Phil is cowering in fear of Claire’s unreasonable jealousy."

Would it be even more irritating to point out that the word is "revue"?

I first read that as "childish star," which is even more true.

"I wish it were more than just six episodes"

That's ACADEMY AWARD WINNER Roger Christian to you!

Nope. Noel Fielding wasn't there, and Simon Amstell seemed genuinely concerned about her (as much as he can be, under the snarkiness), at one point telling her that the whole taping was an intervention, and at another responding to her shouting the chorus of "Rehab" ("no, no, no!") with "perhaps … yes?"

Well played.

Soft? A likely story …

Luis Buñuel made a film called The Exterminating Angel.

I've seen every episode of Pretty Little Liars (surprise, surprise) and was similarly taken aback. According to IMDb, Aurora Perrineau had a small role in a single episode back in 2011, and wasn't even credited as a guest star in that one.

AA/Maureen, you mean?

So, sexual selection is not a type of natural selection. They are separate. This is like a question about complex carbohydrates accepting "sugar."

Right now, no one who's ever met Alex beforehand can be a contestant. Not a lot of quizzers cross paths with Alex, though, so it's not much of an issue.
