Hank's a good guy. Solid as CAN be. You have to realize that it would be unrealistic to have everyone be morally corrupt. And stealing a few fancy decorative spoons is not moral corruption. If anything, that's to show us how trivial everyday ethical mistakes are in comparison with the true monsters of the world.
