The connection to Bill Clinton you keep making isn't totally wrong, but Clinton is nothing like the political agenda RATM talks about-Clinton was a neoliberal centrist who fucked over generations of workers and farmers in both the US and Mexico. If you look at his policies, he's exactly what RATM publicly stood

Neither did Lester Bangs-although he thought Bowie was pretentious, I think (not unfair, but that was always kind of the point of Bowie). Both of them definitely fucked up some.

I disagree, both that scene and when Carmela is at the hospital after Tony's been shot just kill me. I'm sure AJ was a happy little kid, it's something you think about when your son just tried to kill himself. It's not something specific to Carmela, it's a universal.

The hug was great too. I like Schmidt's consistent devotion to Nick despite the fact that Nick doesn't really reciprocate, or doesn't want to (as seen with the cookie episode).

yeah i agree- she rips into her first lines "go on down to jackson…", its fun and kinda sexy at the same time. you can hear the chemistry between them.

doing the impression/losing his fucking marbles at the same time, id guess. it was a pretty good buscemi, actually, gyp would be a hit at parties (provided he didn't try to kill anyone there.

at first he shut her down, but then he propositioned her later; she was already seeing Chris, and when Chris tells him about it, he's infuriated that he got there first.

Tony slouches further toward Bethlehem in this episode, more more of a destructive force.

Nick is basically an older, less political version of myself…so I quote random things he says.
