when i saw mould doing a book reading in sf, he was asked if he knew that hart was playing at thee parkside. he said, "yeah, he called me and told me (doing a shocked face) oh, we've been talking!" it was pretty fucking funny…so theres hope.

Really looking forward to this. Did anyone else see Tom Hardy in the Masterpiece version? It's not that good, but he comes close to a perfect Heathcliff.

its a mix of things: catherine becomes friends with a pair of wealthy siblings/neighbors, so she becomes more refined and spends more time with them-heathcliff is still wild so he gets pissed that this creates distance-then she decides to marry edgar, the brother-heathcliff leaves, gets rich (most likely thru crime),

I've never seen Taken, but it sounds kind of like Frantic (a somewhat underrated Roman Polanski movie with Harrison Ford). With more torture.

I'm surprised Don't Trust the Bitch in Apartment 23 wasn't talked about, the only show recently that had an episode where the two roommates were genuinely worried about paying the rent. Sure it gets goofy after that, but class issues are a big part of the show: June doesn't get her dream job/apartment because of her

i think of them as punk-influenced, but if you listen to their early albums, they're actually less "punk": they sounds more like college rock like husker du and the replacements (which billie joe has said were his big influences). i agree with jabba: green days way harder than blink-182, so if you listened to them

Owen is way too badass to just be set on fire-he'd shoot gyp while burning, and grin as he died. We need more Owen Sleater badass scenes, we/'ve only had two really.
