paulie certainly remembers pussy in "remember when" asking a ghostly version of him if he will "stand up" when he dies. i always loved paulie waking up after and lifting weights. everyones got their own therapy.

one of my favorites is tonys when carmela declares that she doesnt want to see meadow again.

agreed this band kicks serious ass. as with all good punk bands, they make me jump up and down.

honestly, james franco is a damn good actor; going from harry osborn in spider man (a rich kid with a lot of real demons) to the stupid but sweet saul in pineapple express is a really impressive acting turn-around. he was great in howl too.

i read an article by hawke on kris kristofferson, and i really liked it, it was a good portrait of him.

as
emotionally manipulative and weird the episode was, the acting really got to me in the last few seconds, i was surprised at how good jason segel was at going from pure joy to weeping and embracing lily. kinda teared up.

damn, i just read as i finished dying; as techincally linear as the plot is, the book is brilliant because of it's numerous, clashing perspectives. unless it's extremely experimental, it's not going to work on film. But still, franco's a talented guy, so… FRANCO!

i love patti smith's music, but her writing was pretty awful. just super pretentious, I'm an artist/poet! crap. shes trying too damn hard.

the whole furio subplot was just awful in general, though; i actually really enjoy carmela's storyline, but that whole period is just boring, however well-written it was.

i thought it was important to their deeply conflicted, but really caring relationship. carmela and tony say horrible things, but they always regret it.

haha fuck im sorry about that, my bad, guys.

i thought it was hilarious that was all he could say, that movie sounds so damn odd there should be a little showbiz book on it.

agreed, i thought his genuine likeability but also selfishness came across too. he's a douche, but as the aj scene, showed he can be decent.

yeah
i think the jackie jr. subplot reaches a certain tragedy at the end, as it becomes clear that jackie is plain doomed and always has been. theres something really sad about a prince of the mob being shot by vito: the mob has destroyed itself, and doesn't work as well in modern times.

Thank you! You are the stars! All you shining people out there!

considering lovitz was weeping through a hartman tribute on the snl special, yeah, don't go there.

i love the nazi museum they visit: "sure they talk about the concentration camps, but does anyone talk about the real sensitive hitler? "

i like the pilsbury dough boy joke, "i believe the contract says i have to PRANCE." (digs through contract) "you win this round sherman." thats just glorious.

huh
sounds like a cool guy, but i suspect most british actors are.

As much as I don't want the actors and crew to die (and someone will, taymor and bono have enough ego to let it go that far), i'm also enjoying the schadenfreude of watching this show fail so goddamn much.
