i still think they focused on her too much. yeah, i understand that she was thematically important, and yes, i understand that she's important in relation to don as his wife, but i keep thinking back on throwaway shit with her like her issues with her parents(as much as i loved her mother), the fact that we spent 10

there should be a commandment involved in writing up workaholics reviews: thou shalt not compare workaholics to it's always sunny. seriously, the two shows are nothing alike. i mean if we're going to go with 'they're alike because i can't sympathize with the characters' then that would include pretty much every show

i think it's from the episode where they're trying to get blake a passport to get down to hedonism. they're standing by the newly christened 'grape' van.

Some Kind of Munster, it's not a trick, it's that i recognize that most people's attention spans are woefully short. almost the entire first film is set-up and most won't bother to sit through it—they'll guess the rest of the trilogy is a lot like it and just give up. so i have no problem getting somebody to like

having read and loved the books, i agree, but if i had to introduce a brand new person to the trilogy, i'd probably have them watch two towers first, jut because of helm's deep.

That's true. I think she just called and told the secretary "It's his sister-in-law" without giving a name and Pete assumed Judy, who I would guess is his brother's wife. At first I thought that he had mentioned he had a brother to her at some point(maybe a pillow-talk type scene we missed out on) but probably not,

didn't even put that together. i thought they were referring to pete's brother's wife. unless i'm totally misremembering those scenes after his father died and he doesn't have a brother and/or the guy isn't married.

yes, others thought that, but it wasn't her. i would assume it would take a while for the friend to find out about megan's double-cross anyway—the commercial would actually need to air with megan in it before the girl would know what was up—assuming of course that megan didn't call her up on the phone and tell her

i don't think megan would look at that way, even if it is true subconsciously. she looked pretty ticked/disgusted when her mother reminded her of her nice home, her handsome husband, and how she doesn't need to do anything but be a wife and potential mother. i mean, if someone straight-up asked megan if she married

it's difficult to get aspiring entertainers to see that it might be a good idea to hedge their bets. i have a cousin who is currently heading into college to major in theater/music. she supposedly realistically plans on becoming a broadway star and winning a tony. people have tried to gently nudge her into getting at
