I'm starting to get angry…
I'm starting to get angry…
Legion is so good, and incredibly immersive, every week I catch myself still watching after it ends and begins again.
They took all the trees
And put them in a tree museum
And they charged all the people
A dollar and a half to see 'em
Don't it always seem to go
That you don't know what you've got
'Till it's gone
They paved paradise
And put up a parking lot.
Well said, and I would equate fate with gravity: by being who you are, a person is pulled in a certain inevitable direction. That is certainly true of Norman and Caleb. And, with Norma gone, even with their vain attempts to keep her alive in spirit, they both started spinning further out of control and were pulled…
Although I appreciate most of what is taking place in season five, so far, there is a troubling morality at play as I see it. There has always been a strong sense of empathy for Norma and Norman, stretching all the way back from the first episode of the series, and even now as we get close to the end. The problem is…
No, really: What is on tonight?
In the first episode, Taylor included they and them as preferred pronouns.
Stupidity as commodity isn't a valid argument. It's focused hate spoon fed to fools who need to believe it because it justifies their own prejudices and baseless anger. The size of the fringe may ebb and flow but it will never go away; and, there will always be people who take advantage of it as there will be others…
The BEST speculation!
GESUNDHEIT!
Alan Smithee is overdue.
His approval rating with R's are high now, but I wasn't talking about today. If he proves to be entirely ineffective, with a constant storm cloud of investigations hanging over his head, R's will lose that enthusiasm and his base won't be enough to save him.
Alan Dershowitz suggested a 9-11 Commission type investigation, saying a special investigator isn't warranted until there is evidence of a crime. This makes sense to me.
Listen: Issa said it. That shows a crack in their armor, admit it or not. Susan Collins is not unwilling to actively investigate Trump in the Senate Intelligence committee.
I like Grant Gustin! It's what they're doing with the character of Barry Allen I can't stand.
That's politics.
I'm not so sure. If Daryl Issa is willing to do something as outlandish (/sarcasm) as suggest a special prosector is warranted in a Russia investigation, the party may not be as solidly behind him as you seem to think.
There hasn't been a bill signed yet (that I know about) and it's been more than 40 days since he took office. Congress was in session before then and still nothing? It's a bit odd.
The REPUBLICANS won't let him have FOUR years if he keeps screwing the pooch. They have been unable to do ANYTHING legislatively, and his political cache will run out before too long as it does for all presidents. If his approval ratings drop precipitously and they lose the mid-terms, expect the REPUBLICANS to turn up…
