You made the right choice. I was curious about the reception he would get more than anything. It was tepid, honestly. The applause barely held through his entrance. Once he got started (and my blood pressure began to rise) the crowd reaction was predictable. And, I was ready for something/anything else.

The first words out of his mouth was a mention of Black History Month! He then said the words civil rights with a straight face!

Honestly, I don't give a shit what those morons "think."

Opening with a nod to Black History Month, a quick mention of civil rights, and a nod to anti-semitic violence before a segue to self-congratulations on a string of ineffective, damaged and damaging executives orders: after five minutes it became obvious this was nothing but a really, really bad television show. Smug

The Flash would be a much better show without Barry. He's a lousy superhero, losing every conflict (he barely managed to "defeat" a touchpad!) and complaining every step of the way. If it wasn't for Cisco and co. saving the hour, literally, I'd have given up by now.

When all is said and done, it all boils down to tax cuts; it always has. There will be all kinds of rhetoric about every topic you can think of but the final reckoning in terms of "success" in the eyes of Republicans is taxes.

Nuh-uh.

Nope.

No.

Haven't heard but these two songs but the first thing that came to mind is Hop Along. Looking forward to hearing the rest of this.

And be out for the next 5 seasons.

Speaking of games…

Harpo shrugs.

There was a good bit of post-modernism and meta-commentary in the episode. They literally went to a legendary (or fictional) place. Camelot wasn't historically accurate because it was based on an idea; an idea that was part of the reason Ray became the man he is, just like in the George Lucas episode. This show may be

This was a good "silver age" kind of episode; it was fun, and it intentionally had aspects from another time. When a superhero show has roots in comics that stretch back at least half a century, sometimes it will reference it's history and I think there was a lot of that tonight.

Yes, good catch! That's exactly what it was referring to.

Not as weird as the Russian diplomat who had his skull caved in, and, according to the Russians, died of a "heart attack" on election day in NYC.

A couple of things seem like callbacks to the first season.

That was just about as perfect as it could be, as far as I'm concerned; both effective and affective. Even during commercials, I was haunted by what had just taken place (and I couldn't help but laugh at the one offering an app for booking hotels rooms).

I hope Timeless gets renewed. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise kind of show, mainly because of the cast and despite the time travel gimmick.
