Personally, I think the indictment of an entire kind of movie is far too simplistic of an argument. I can see his not wanting to direct any of the superhero movies he may have been offered, but there has been and there can be a great variety within the superhero "genre" some of which could match his sensibilities.

I'm sure the ask is based on coming up with a figure that would make CBS think twice before going forward with similar behavior in the future. A company with gross profits of over $5 billion per year isn't going to start feeling pain until the numbers get into the hundreds of millions.

I understand the 20s… those come right out of the ATM. But 10s? You gotta go get change, and the guy at the Toot N' Totum always wants you to buy something, so you end up with some shitty candy bar you don't even like and like 17 bucks and some change. And then you gotta do it all over again.

I would, too.

It's still 90% 'Big Bang Theory' reruns.

The underground tunnels in Dallas are for the upper classes to get from one skyscraper to another without having to go outside in the oppressive heat. They don't let poor people in there.

I see the execs at Sony are still pulling stuff from the "Terrible Ideas" file.

But I had virtually no supervision. I could have watched anything I wanted at any time.

I watched that second video of '11 Intros' thingy, and I'd never even heard of most of those shows, even though I was alive and TV-watching during that era.

Well, not at exactly the same time, it's more one after another.

Strangely, they all had outrageous French accents.

low-cut tops, you say?
