I'm not arguing for or against the theory, but that particular host who welcomed Jimmi Simpson was also in the flashbacks from before the park opened, so she's been there a while. No telling when she started becoming the welcome lady.

Sylvester probably thinks that, worse comes to worse, he can just go back to working at Domino's.
"”And when you’re a star, they let you do it.” That phrase implies consent"
DOOOOOM!
He was great in the Pacific Robot Master, too.
I learned from Maximum Overdrive that the machines don't go for your jaw, they go for your junk.
Houston didn't even have Rice University yet in 1908.
Also, you never have to hear about how an Uber's credit card machine isn't working, and not know whether you'll be able to actually pay for the ride is half the fun.
They could still be mechanical on the inside.
"Hillary knew I was a mind-controlled slave, and, like Bill Clinton, just took it in stride as a "normal" part of life in politics." - Cathy O'Brien, or possibly Voltaire.
If Hillary killed Ben Gazzara that might change my vote.
In 1994, I was a student at a Texas junior college and worked on the student newspaper there. There was a guy running for Governor who had a famous name who was coming to town for a public appearance/fundraising event, so a couple of us budding journalists decided we would go check it out, too.
Because he sucks.
Fine. I'll do it.
We've seen/heard how much less lifelike the hosts were when they started. We don't know when they started. But we also know that they made many advances before they even opened the park. "They passed the Turing test after the first year". The host that greets William is even seen in the flashback to before the park…
You could even add Ed Harris' actions in with Delores' actions.
Which one is simple? That Lawrence and William sit down and settle in and silently move to a different train car or that she's on the train at a different time at the very end of that scene when they're not there?
Visions, memories, something. Whatever it is, it's convoluted.
It is convoluted on purpose, though. We don't even know that the timeline within a scene remains constant. At the end of this episode, we see the maze on the coffins and then Delores looks up and Lawrence and William are gone.
Except for Ford's talk about how things used to be in the early days - pure research vs. now when there are corporate overlords to answer to (Harris talking about changes made because they were cheaper). Also, Ford talks about Arnold wanting to give the hosts a real consciousness but Ford wasn't interested in that.…
