Larry the Cable Guy seems to think so, yes.

There's no logic behind that, it's only people being people. Because the so-called "death panels" would be a lot more open about what they're doing, people begin to understand it. With the insurance companies, it's a lot more closed to the public and people don't seem to connect that they're doing the exact same

When did we start to believe Jesse Ventura?

"The Executive is extremely powerful right now."

"Show creators are generally acknowledged as being extremely poor writers."

"…we fight on that lie."

Well, AVC grades a show against itself (if that makes any sense), so a show like BB will need to do a LOT more to get an A than Glee or some shit like that. I would argue that both Half Measures and One Minute were a bit better than this episode, so with that in mind you could argue that this episode deserved an

I think HBO would've been the perfect home for Party Down. That or FX (you'd need to tone down the show for it to be on FX though).

"but maybe they should think more about firing the writers since they are not funny."

Agree, and I absolutely loved the A Tribe Called Quest documentary.

The show looks absolutely HORRIBLE, judging by that trailer.

Yep, Asuka has it right. You can hear that almost every country musician that came after Brooks wanted his popularity, and to do that they tried to copy him. The commercial pop bullshit ruined Country and Brooks was the king of that shit.

I have little against the guy personally, but I blame him for making country even worse than it was.

Rapin' the Wind…

I'd never heard the song before (Garth Brooks has never been anything special here in Norway, I guess), but yeah, it's pretty bad.

No, it's only three episodes. But I guess they'll be as long as the first season episodes, so I'm not too worried.

Love how you actually remember details from that show. It's like me still remembering small details from the Pokemon anime I saw as a kid.

The FINAL HOUR ruined the whole show for you? What about most of the episodes from season two and onward? I too saw the whole show (WHY?!), but had stopped to care long before the "finale":

I still admire how they planned out the whole Nibbler and Fry storyline. But yeah, even that began to fall apart after a while. Still one of the all time great shows though.

Carnivàl ended on a painful cliffhanger. The show was flawed, but when it was good it was GOOD. Clancy Brown was born to play Brother Justin.
