agree, I love all the Flansburgh songs on this album best. Good to Be Alive is my jam, and I'm really getting into I'm a Coward and All the Lazy Boyfriends. Music Jail is also amazing. My only gripe is I wish it were two songs, and the second song longer (so I could listen to it forever), but oh well.

Does the winter soldier count?

honestly, Chrissy Kiss the Corpse is kind of skippable in my book.

no, I like it a lot, but it isn't like, a religious experience for me. I feel like for a lot of people, the of Montreal conversation starts and ends at that song.

I think I just space out in the middle of Authentic Pyrrhic Remission. Same with Wintered Debts. I've idly considered opening the tracks in garage band and just deleting the padded-out noise segments. Alas, I'm too lazy.

I know this is sacrilege, but I think The Past Is a Grotesque Animal is overrated :0

Lysergic Bliss is good and all, but Climb the Ladder is one of the greatest Of Montreal songs of all time! I can't explain it (don't ask me to explain). Cool little bossa nova pianos, those perfect harmonies, a soaring chorus, boppy little bassline… it's electrifying!
Actually, the whole album is incredible. I haven't

aw man, the last song on PS is super catchy! The penultimate, though, is just like… garbage. no offense, Kevin Barnes.

I can't understand how anyone could NOT be enthralled by Bitch Planet. And comparing it to a fantastic TV series as a reason to not read it, that also makes no sense to me. BP is one of my absolute favorite new comics out there right now.

GUH

"The baby on the cliff" is just a very worrying sentence to read.

I like You're So Beautiful… idk, it really does sound like a late-90s r&b song or whatever. Conqueror, meanwhile, was just another life-affirming anthem (which seem to be all the rage currently). I thought it was cool, but the way the show's used You're So Beautiful (having Cookie sing it in jail; establishing it as

I was obsessed with that song when it came out. I'm only into cute hip hop.

I agree with Paralytic Stalks being great (although there are long stretches of just noise, for which I dock points, lol), but I thought Lousy with Sylvanbriar went too far in the other direction. Like, it was so accessible it was almost just bland. Maybe it was the abrupt omnipresence of Rebecca Cash (like, come on

False Priest is easily one of my fave albums of theirs. Almost perfect. "Like a Tourist" is my jam.

LFB destroyed Twin Peaks. Dale and Audrey were so cute together. They were like, the sweet part that made all the horror watchable.

my favorite scenes of the year:

you're not alone! The bridge for "Out of the Woods" on her new album particularly sticks out.

well the Jezebel thinkpieces I read were all about how she says that men like more booty or something.
That song is annoying as fuck. Can't we all sing in the dulcet tones of Taylor Swift?

I hate that song, it has a part that sounds exactly like that "Fancy" song. That and the terrible New York song are deleted from my ipod.
Personally, I like my music as quiet and smooth as possible, so I love "This Love", probably the best.
