yeah, we adopted our dog from a high-kill shelter. The paperwork was ridiculously simple compared to the no-kill shelters (basically consisted of "will you take care of this dog? Will you get rid of this dog if you don't like it? Is this going to be a guard dog?" and.. that was it. No references or anything).…
